It isn't often I feel compelled to write a review, but this delightfully playful abode has dragged me to the keyboard in very much the same fashion I imagine undesirables were hauled off Moscow's streets by the KGB some decades ago. After pounding the snow-laden streets of Москва for a solid 12 hours, I was as relieved as a peasant escaping one of Stalin's gulags to find a convivial atmosphere and fluffy pillow for the night.

Despite the building sitting opposite a monstrosity which could only be described as Russia's equivalent Chernobyl, and also next to the city's "third ring" circular road, this place has something of the night about it. Velvety wallpaper, supple mattress and power shower would be the takeaway describors of the room, albeit on the small side.

To conclude, a special thank you to Igor on the front desk, despite looking completely bemused that a foreigner would be humping around Moscow in January and although probably strongly suspecting I had a rucksack full of polonium-210, he was most helpful, and sincerely so.

Breakfast sufficed, despite the collection of Soviet-era jumpers of the other guests being mildly disturbing I was not perturbed in the slightest. Although I was admittedly for a few moments under the illusion I had been transported back to the 1950s, frantically filling my stomach of sustenance before a 24 hour shift on a collective farm or sovkhoz.

Despite aforementioned appearances, the location is actually very central and 4 Metro stops only from the Kremlin et al.

I shall return!

It is located near a metro stations (avtozavodskaya, which is 3 stops from the center). It has a very nice atmosphere, with a good sense of decoration. The rooms were quite comfortable, very clean and large. Breakfast was fair enough but not that much.. The stuff was helpful although not everybody speak English and we didn't speak Russian! It is a good and adorable choice for someone traveling to Moscow.

Although I knew it's not a fancy hotel and it was World cup season so the price rocketed up, I did expect more smiles and a bit more patient when attended us. As none Russian speakers, we have tried our best to speak slowly and use most basic and simplest English plus body languages and wearing smile all the time to communicate with you, as hotel front desk staff, can we be treated the same way as we treated you?

I don't usually criticise "free breakfast" provided by hotels, but I have to say Best Seasons only offered very limited choices and most food were processed frozen food perhaps.

As the hotel is located right next to the third ring road, we can feel the floor shakes everytime heavy vehicles or those sports cars passes.

Was truly blown away by the place. I'm from Canada and my friend from Spain. Close to the metro and has a great weekend deal. The staff went out of their way to help us several times (visa registration, printing flight tickets, recommending restaurants, giving us extra towels, setting up a safe in our room, ordering a taxi very early in the morning) were very friendly, punctual and made us feel very welcome.

The delux double was large, well styled, great shower/jacuzzi set up, large TV and very clean and organised.

Breakfast was nice, quite a variety and the woman who looked after the tables was very prompt and friendly.

Very very very nice hotel experience.

Very strange from outside, the hotel is very nice and even elegant inside. Good location: some 300 m. from Avtozavodskaya Underground station. 1 stop (metro) from Paveletskiy railway station where you have a "Aeroexpress" train to Domodedovov airport.
Nice breakfast, matching claimed 4* level. 24\7 supermarket is 5 min. walk from the hotel. Also, there are a few different restaurants and bars on the street (Sushi, Azeri cuisine, Coffee bar, Czech cuisine etc). Very welcoming staff! Everything is NEW in your rooms: furniture, TV, bathroom (absolutely new and bright!).
Probably, the only problem is lack of elevator. Still, the staff picking up your bags to the room. So, I would like to recommend this hotel to business and young travelers, and young couples as well. Less to the families and mature or disabled travelers.

We were there during FIFA World Cup. Well, don’t expect much, but if you want a nice, clean place to stay in Moscow, and spend more of your budget exploring the city, this might work very well. Ir is absolutely no place to stay if you want to enjoy the hotel, but it is very near to metro stations which will get you to the center in 10 minutes, breakfast is OK, and rooms are quiet and clean. While in Moscow, don’t miss the Red Square and Old Arbar.

Stayed last night after struggling to find a hotel on the night of the World Cup final. Was literally gobsmacked by the appalling rudeness of the reception staff. Abrupt, unhelpful and downright rude. Laughed at us and had the attitude of passport control when we failed to immediately produce passport. Also, did not offer help with booking a Taxi. Sent us to a cash point to withdraw money for cab to airport and then laughed that we had been given a large note , that the taxi wouldn’t accept and refused to give any change. As for the rooms..... if I was you I wouldn’t get that far. Russians everywhere else we’re friends and helpful. But not here. Stay well clear.

Close to metro station.
The Hotel has poor standards. Rooms are worn out. The carpet stinks. A lot of basic facilities are missing.
It has 5 floors and no elevator. Hotel staff does not help you to carry the luggage.
Front desk is not helpful at all and has attitude problems.
Breakfast was not good at all and same every day.

My stay was very pleasant at the best seasons hotel. Although the bed could be better and they Only have twinbeds it was a good stay and clean hotel. It's near a subwaystation which is the best transportation possibility in this traffic jammed city. Breakfast is very basic but Oké.

We were a group of four people and stayed a working week in Moscow. The hotel was conveniently located next to the metro and once we had figured out which train and which way to take, our stay and commute in Moscow was excellent.

The hotel was good enough for us, there is no restaurant but plenty of places to eat nearby.
