I stayed in this hotel mainly because of the location since i needed to stay in Taganskaya. The place from outside doesnt say much, but rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. The bathroom is the best part of the room, very big. I want to give a special recognition to Anna from the reception, she speaks very good English and managed to solve some "language issues" I faced apart from giving me some tips on how to move around in Moscow. The hotel is very close to the metro and even easy to walk to the Red Square (arund 40 min walk).

This was a quick stop for us, just one night from airport to train station the next day. But what we experienced was clean room and friendly staff with a quick check in and out. Would recommend it to travelers.

Basic hotel, very clean, Bed is OK. Rooms are large in size (the one i took double bed), very quiet and calm hotel (its entrance looks a bit like a Dormitory). the street is calm and empty, so if you are opting into a lively area, this will not be a good choice. this hotel is suitable for Business trips & if you are willing to take taxi to centre ( which is not expensive) however it is a long walk if you decide to walk to centre. metro is around 10 min walk, as well as a big supermarket. not so much happening in this area. it was expensive for what it has to offer, nothing special about it but maybe because of the Worldcup. i felt comfortable & it is a clean hotel, they don't offer breakfast. i would prefer to be more in the centre.

Stayed here for a night during the World Cup. Location is good a few stops from red square. Policy of checking in only after 2pm is fine, but when we came back the receptionist was on a very long phone call and we waited 25 minutes whilst she ignored us and the other people waiting. When we did eventually get to the front she continued to multitask. Room itself is actually fine and quite a cool design- the bathroom was a great standard. We tried the bar/restaurant and found it quite expensive compared to other local places, plus they had a salsa night that went on until 2am- the music was loud so be aware of that on a Saturday night. Finally, went to breakfast and it is DIRE, truly awful and one of the worst I’ve ever seen, as other reviews have already said the selection is small and cheap, totally not worth the 750RUB charge. One other note, nobody speaks English in hotel or restaurant and everybody is sullen and rude. Enjoy!

Very plesant hotel in a quiet area but 2 stop away from the red square. Breakfast is simple and limited compared to other hotels, WiFi was very good, staff very pleasant and bar restaurant of hotel was rather nice.

.A very comfortable business hotel in a reasonably quiet street. The metro stops are about 7 minutes away and the river is 10 minutes. I had a single room which was roomy with a small but good quality shower room (walk in) with good lighting and a hair dryer. Room 326 overlooks a quiet square. The wifi is free and excellent. The air conditioning was also good and needed! The breakfast was somewhat basic with sliced bread and a toaster only. There was ham, cheese, yogurt, porridge and muesli every day and eggs on some days. Improvements would be fruit juice and other types of bread. Staff on the desk varied in their customer service - some being more friendly than others.

I spent a night in this hotel and was about to give the highest possible score to it, since interiour space design and room quality was far above my expectations. There are many small things that emphasize some small hotels from hundreds of similar "mainstream" properties. So here's one of them.

However, the score went down once I came to the breakfast room. I likely saw something even worse only in US motels that cost twenty dollars per night.

My strong opinion is that hotel management should increase room rates by 10% and spend that for providing decent breakfasts to get rid of this imbalance.

This is not the first time I have been stopped for work, this time was the last one. The administrator Elena (she didn’t have a badge, that’s how she introduced herself) is rude, behaves extremely unprofessionally - she announces one amount for accommodation, provides documents for a lesser amount. The room is simply not cleaned for 24 hours, water sits in the sink for days, the hotel is CLEARLY not worthy of 4 stars

When choosing a place to stay in Moscow, the main criteria for us were: location in the center, proximity to the metro, bathroom in the room, availability of breakfast. The spectrum suited us in all respects. Convenient location, spacious and clean bathroom, very tasty breakfast. The room has everything you need: kettle, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, safe, bathrobes, slippers. There are disposable sets in the bathroom, including toothbrushes with toothpaste and shaving accessories. The towels and sheets are snow-white, the room is clean. Upon check-in, a bottle of water for each guest. We liked everything, next time we will choose Spectrum again.
