High value. Easy, comfortable, convenient, clean, well equipped. Western standards. I've staid at the German B&B several times, it feels like home. Nowadays it is the best accommodation in Saint Petersburg in my opinion.

We were fetched from the airport by Nadja's associate (reasonnable price, good timing),the room was big enough for 4, the bathrooms are nice with plenty of hot water. The kitchen is easy to use with all amenities and several tables + dishwasher + expresso coffee machine, plenty of food shops near the B&B, breakfast provided in the B&B. Everything is very clean, all necessary and useful informations for visiting the town are available; We stayed about 1 week and were very satisfied with this place. We would definitely recommend it.

Nadja took great care of us. Advising from the nearest store (just around the corner) to which bus line to take to get to city centre. The location is great. Had Nadja's associate pick us up at the airport. The room was very comfortable and a good size. Two bathrooms with lots of hot water. You fell at home here. Breakfast was wonderful with a coffee maker that grinds/brews your coffee for you. We even made several meals for ourselves. We also washed our own clothes. They have a computer so you can keep contact on line. When we come back to St Petersburg, Russia, we will stay at the German B&B. A super experience. I am so glad we found this B&B. Very clean and quite. Nadja goes out of her way to help you. We walked many times from Nevsky Prospect. Great value for your money. I highly recommend this B&B.

We had no trouble finding the location because we arranged to have someone from the B&B pick us up. It was about the price of a taxi and it was so nice to just have someone waiting for us when we arrived. It alleviated a lot of the stress of arriving in a new and foreign city. The B&B was about four or five blocks from Nevsky Prospect and the heart of things. It's also that far from the train station, major bus stops, and the metro, so it's very convenient but not right in the middle of everything. One of the bus stops has a shuttle and a bus that runs regularly to the airport. We had no issues with getting there when we were leaving. I don't know the bus numbers off the top of my head, but you can easily find which ones to take online (or from Nadja). It is also right next door to a 24-hour mart and a grocery store, which is very convenient. We would stop into the food mart for a water to take with us for the day or maybe even a beer at the end of the day. The price is extremely reasonable, and the rooms are large and comfortable. Internet access was free, which was wonderful. Some may have an issue with sharing a bathroom with other rooms, but it was never, not even once, an issue for us. There are two bathrooms and most of the time, both were available (which was also nice since there were three of us), but there was never a time when at least one wasn't. In fact, it felt like believe our room had the one all to ourselves for the most part. The bathrooms were nice and the water pressure was good. The breakfast part of the B&B was a fend for yourself situation, which worked just fine for us. You don't get "hotel" service, such as a concierge or a front desk, but if you can fend for yourself for the most part, it's perfect. And if we needed help, our hosts, though not on location, were an email or call away. When we communicated by email, the response was always timely. And while English isn't Nadja's first language or even her second, it was very good and we had no communication issues. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again. Thanks so much, Nadja, for your hospitality.

We did have a little trouble finding it, but then saw the decal on the window. You go thru a sort of tunnel, that takes you to the inside parking lot of the building, and enter from the interior parking lot, not the street side, which actually makes it safer I think. The decal is clearly on the windows. My son and I stayed for 4 nights. Everything was super clean, comfortable and convenient. The grocery store is two doors away, so it is easy to buy food to cook and store in the common refrigerator. The washing machine came in very handy.

This place is very pleasant, comfortable and affordable. Nadja is helpful and can answer fast to questions by email. The room was large, very clean. So were the bathroom and the kitchen. The B&B is not far from Nevsky prospect. I advise this mini-hôtel.

I had a great stay at German B&B. Nadja was extremely helpful and informative. I booked a last minute stay there and had no issues with communicating about the details. Before arriving, a document with specific directions was provided which was extremely helpful. The room was a good size and all the basic amenities needed. The bed was also very comfortable! They also provided a convenient car service to the airport for a very good price and there were no issues with my 4 am pick up! Thank you German B&B!

Very good place where to stay in St-Pb and feel like at home. 10 min walk from Vosstaniya metro station and Nevskii Prospekt. Shops all around to buy food and cook in the full equiped kitchen. Welcoming from Nadia is very benevolent, and she is available to give good advices. I recommend this place.

All you want from a good B&B and a bit more. To reassure everybody, the two essentials, heating and cleanliness, are 100% covered. On top of that you get spacious rooms and, within a limited budget, attention for details in the interior design. The two bathrooms are maybe not the stongest point of the B&B but they in order, clean and have basically everything you need. Breakfast you get yourself out of the fridge, but the B&B did invest in a nice expresso-machine. Location is very good, quiet street, safe area (you may not go for that reason to St.-Petersburg, but there is a nice Irish pub two blocks away), frequent and quick trolley-bus connections to the centre (Hermitage). I did not meet the owner, as she was out of town for a holiday when I was there, but still before I arrived and also while I was there, over telephone, she did everything she could to follow up if everything was going well. In short, I found in 5.Sovestskaya a B&B which takes you behind the facades of St.-Petersburg.
