I stayed here for 3 nights in the 6 bed dorm. The hostel is in an apartment building which you enter from the rear of the building through a big steel door. The hostel is small but really nice. The dorm I was in was quite big and there was loads of space for your stuff. They provide bed clothes...

Nice hostel with good rooms and great facilities. The staff were so lovely and went out of their way to help us (especially Yeva). Highly recommended. They also hooked us up with an amazing tour of Lake Baikal with Baikal Glory, which we would also recommend.

I’m so pleased I decided to use Jack for our trip to Lake Baikal. He’s an incredibly likable, friendly and knowledgeable guide with an interesting background and terrific English. Jack was super responsive on email when I first inquired about pricing and availability. We decided to do the Circum Baikal walk and weren’t disappointed. Jack picked us up from our...

Hostel is okay; location is good, beds are good, there is a kitchen and bathrooms are clean. The staff was not really helpfull, maybe abit doing their own things. We took the tour to lake Baikal and it was awesome; if you stop in Irkutsk, you should definitely do it! The owner of the hostel was our guide, he was...

We went in there totally spontaneous to ask if anybody knows a place where it would be possible to go for diving. The girl at the reception immediately called someone and arranged a reservation for a single dive in Listvianka. Also she described us the way to go to the bus station by tram and all prices Very very friendly...

We had booked two nights, but ended up staying only one. The lady working there was kind enough, but had the apparent "I couldn't care less attitude"- which makes things a little difficult. To sum up our experience: Pros: - central - cheap Cons: - no air conditioning - no fans - extremely noisy as all rooms face a heavily...

The hostel in Olkhon island is nice. The rooms are basics but ok even though the beds are not so comfy. There is hot water for showers and real toilets (not Turkish style toilet!) The wifi is good. There are free coffee and tea all along the day. Breakfast and dinner are good. Olga, the tenant is nice and speak...

I went to Irkutsk with 5 friends and we booked at Baikaler. When we got there, the landlady told us that since that hostel was almost full, we would be in separate rooms but if we wanted they could lead us to another of their hostels, where we could have been together. Great experience with the staff, available, friendly, nice...
