Someone managed to enter our room after heading to it specifically during the Isha prayer time and after going to the manager he told us that our room does not appear clearly on cameras which was frustrating. We went to the police station and managed to see the CCTV footage with a police officer then we managed to get a clear picture of the thief while the hotel worker and the officer recognized the burglar(neither worker nor a guest). The next day our door lock stopped working and anyone could manage to open it without a key. We told the manager about that. By the end, the hotel didn’t offer us any good compensation about that hassle which was very frustrating.
This hotel has pretty nice interior decor, which has a welcoming and cosy feeling to it. The rooms were okay, but wifi was not good - signal dropped frequently and I only got good signal near the front door - use mobile data instead. Sleep quality could be better but I'd say the rooms are clean. There's good buffet spread for all meals of the day. The hotel isn't quite the nearest one to the masjid - you could probably one nearer for around the same price, but it is at a quiet location if that's a preference. Staff was great, very helpful and prompt. Overall, pretty decent hotel.
Location is ok from the Great Mosque, but there are other hotels which are much closer, and probably even cheaper. After one year, we came back to the hotel, not on our own, but chosen by our travel agent. Nothing had really changed as far as maintenance is concerned. Hard to believe that the hotel does not care about repairing small items which contribute to the wellbeing of clients. The tv was not working, but we did not care because we were not there to watch tv. The locker broke down after one day, compelling us to carry our money with us. The Wifi was pathetic, with most people surfing outside their rooms. Worse of all, the door too would not lock properly, so we had to try several times before it finally locked. Definitely not a 5star hotel. Nevertheless, breakfast was very good, although there were no fresh fruits, apart from oranges and apples. The restaurant can also become very crowded, especially immediately after dawn prayers. The room was regularly ceaned. Also, the emergency exit is BLOCKED, so if a fire breaks down, there may be problems. Since I was on the first floor and the lift was slow, I did try the emergency exit but the greatest problem is poor communication with the reception. Strangely, the receptionists could not speak English properly. For a hotel which claims to be 5star, this is strange. Anyway, to me it is closer to a 3star hotel.…
Another perfect trip third year running Welcoming and accommodating staff Plenty of food and choice at breakfast Around 300 metres from gate 25 making access exceptionally easy for ladies Local shops and pakistani restaurant next door Look forward to returning Jzkl to all the staff
Location pretty good, decent breakfast buffet, not sure if it’s worth 5 stars. Hotel cleaners not great a bit lazy. Reception staff not the friendliest will make you wait at reception to talk to you could have been more welcoming. Room sizes a bit smaller than other hotels. WiFi was terrible. Almost non existent. 6/10 overall and would say it’s more 3 star than 5
