This hotel welcome us with change of rooms that we booked. High standard room was changed for low standard. First room they offer us was small and dirty. Also my room has no window. After long conversation with crew they changed us rooms for bungalow. Of course new rooms was also dirty, but was more spacious than first one. Only... More

The hotel is between two metro stations and it takes us 10 minutes to get there from them on foot. There is a PC in my room. However, as you know, you can't access Google, Facebook and even Dropbox through their internet(welcome to China). The aircon doesn't work well from the third night I stayed, sometimes I feel hot even... More

Room is clean. Staffs are friendly although no much staffs can speak English. Hotel has nice view to Canton Tower and has nice garden. They helped me find my phone when I forgot on taxi. Food is ok, much too delicious, but for me it is ok.

This property is totally different than how it looks online. Mosquitoes will eat you alive and the staff is just so bad. I booked online a superior double room, when I arrived they took me to a 3x2m room, I complained and showed them the features of my booked room and they just took me to it, as if nothing... More

This was my third and last stay at the Royal Garden in Guangzhou, and my first negative review! I stayed here during the Canton Fair. Many things I could overlook, such as my room was without aircon, a safe and a bar fridge (all itemized on my invoice) - but the lack of wifi was too much on a business... More

Been previously to this hotel, had the garden room which was excellent. So booked again. However this time was given new rooms on the first floor "japanese style" they said and would advise not to take it. 1. The room roof is made of corrugated iron sheet, so whenever it rains, seems like a construction going above your head 2.... More

The hotel was within walking distance of a subway station (about 10 mins) but keep in mind that the sidewalks in Guangzhou are not even nor nicely paved and are packed with people and cars/bikes so carrying your luggage from the subway station to the hotel may take some effort. The hotel was next to an outdoor market that may... More

The lobby is absolutely stunning, but the smoking inside was a horrible experience, the non-smoking room smelled like a unwashed ashtray. The breakfast was a crowded story but acceptable. The location of the royal garden hotel is good, nearby to whatever you need:)
