Nice enough hotel. The room was pretty nice, the staff really friendly and helpful. They let us leave a bag with them for one week, and the also helped us buy train tickets. The breakfast was pretty nice. The BIG downside in January was the temperature. It was FREEZING inside the bedroom. The bed being on the floor might be...

Lakeside Inn is owned by the same people as the Riverside Hostel and is actually a small restaurant with three nice rooms. The restaurant serves both Western and Chinese food, among which some Guilin specialities. They also serve various types of cold beers and other drinks, as well as English and American breakfasts. There's free Wifi Internet in the whole...

We only stayed one night over here due to flight problems. Because the Inn is located in the centre, close to the pagodes, we could enjoy of the beautiful evening view of Giulin!

Great little place that took a bit of work to find as our taxi driver was not familiar with the location. Relevant to mention I'm Chinese-American and speak Mandarin. The place is behind the Shan Hu Hotel and you reach it by going through the parking lot. Probably best to keep the phone number handy in case you need to...

This small inn (just 3 rooms) is in a brilliant location in the heart of Guilin. The Inn is just off the main road, but is perfectly tucked away so thart you are in the heart of the city but it is quiet and peaceful. The rooms are clean with good en-suite bathrooms and the ambience of the place is...

We stayed last august in this hotel. We were on a roots journey with or daughter, who was born in the region of Guilin. Lulu was not present, but Frank was a excellent replacement. He helped us making a roots journey through Guilin in his free time. It was great. Making breakfast was not his favorite, but further on he...

We stayed three nights at Lakeside Inn. It's in a good location, right next to the lake (as the name would suggest) where the sun and moon pagodas are and a short walk from the Li River and the main shopping streets. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean, the mattress was laying on...

Great communication with the team before our visit. Efficient pick-up service at the airport (even though late at night). Warm welcome when we arrived (even later at night). Cosy hotel. Quiet room. Central location. Friendly and helpful staff.

This is my first time to Guilin, and I had no idea what to expect! The Lakeside Inn is a lovely place, with a warm and cozy atmosphere and an excellent staff. Lulu, at the front desk, was very kind and helpful, with a great understanding of both English (thank you!) and the local city. The rooms are clean and...
