The room that they gave me smells like an ash tray. I asked for another room but they told that there is none left. They sprayed the room with some deodorizer which made it even worst. The sink and the shower drains very slowly which floods the bathroom if you take s shower for more than 3 minutes. Avoid if...

My family chose this hotel for the price and the positive Chinese reviews so my expectations were already set very low for this place. It is near a shopping center, convenience store, and Hangzhou University. It is about a 10 minute taxi drive to West Lake (15 RMB or $2.38 US). Details of our Deluxe Twin Room (35 square meters...

“1. There is a "KeDi" convenience store around the corner in case you need drinks/snacks. 2. It costs 15 RMB to take a taxi to West Lake (Xi Hu) and only took us 10 minutes to reach there during busy traffic time. 3. Walmart is about a 5 minute drive away. 4. Get the 35 square meter (377 square foot) room if you are traveling with family. 5. If you don't speak Mandarin Chinese then you absolutely need a translation book or your favorite home country language / chinese translation application on your phone (i used Hanping Lite on Android OS) since the hotel staff hardly speaks any english.”
