First of all, this is a very welcoming place. The lady owner (member of the Nakatono family) runs the hotel and greets guests herself. Her English is impressive and she will make sure you have everything you need. She also cooks and serves breakfast, and we found that eating her breakfast in the morning gave us enough energy to run...

I stayed here for 4 nights in July 2016 and would highly recommend everything about the experience! The location is awesome, just 1 small block from Odori Park, walkable from the train station, close to airport buses, and peacefully quiet. I simply loved the Japanese style room I had with tatami mats and futon plus small table with chairs to...

The hotel is rather old; feels like going back to the 60s or 70s but it is well kept so it is acceptable. In fact, it has a traditional feel which seems precious. The hotel is cheap and is in the city center.

The hotel is just one block from the city park and a few blocks away from the main shopping area (Tanuki/underground shopping streets/shopping malls). It's about 10-15 mins walk in the underground walk way from Sapporo JR station. The ladies at the reception was very nice. Although the building seemed old, but it has been well maintained and smelled very...

My husband and I stayed here with our 15 month old for three nights. We were in town for the annual Sapporo Snow Festival, which is mainly held at Odori Park. This hotel was one block from the park and our Japanese style room had an unobstructed view of one of the main snow temples. Close to shops and restaurants....
