The hostel run by what seem to be a family as they are very friendly and helpful. the rooms are for at least 6 people but you don't have a choice on room mates until they move in. i liked that they have a large wall map near the entrance with pins which you can place to show where you...

Stayed here for one night during the snow festival as every other hostel seemed to be booked out several months in advance. The place is clean, with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of toilets and showers. There is ample common room and the free internet was fast and worked well. It did get a little chilly at night though...

This was my first time staying in a hostel and I was a bit anxious as one of the reasons I have always stayed away from them was my reluctance to share a room with strangers. I went during peak season which was the snow festival (yuki matsuri) time. The room I stayed in was an all-female one and it...

I've travelled around the world (40+ countries) and stayed in many hostels along the way. I've been able to see the good and the bad and see what works best. This hostel was designed to be a hostel from the start and built as such. There are several large rooms upstairs, some dorm style some privates, 3 showers, 4 toilets,...

The hostel provides very good directions from the subway and is located in a safe area. You must pay a key deposit with 1000 yen at check-in. The beds are not very comfortable though as the mattresses are quite thin. I booked a private room which basically takes over the room with 3 beds in it. The room is equipped...

A quiet neighbourhood. Security is good. Hostel is well-maintained and organised. Owner is friendly and access is easy with the map and directions provided. 10 min walk + luggage to the hostel is easy if the weather is good. Otherwise, it is better to have a backpack. Visit the ramen and Kinotoya sweet shop recommended!

Spent 5 days at this lovely accommodation. Had a very homely feel to it and place is well maintained. Staff are very friendly and able to speak good english. Transport is also reasonably good (5-10 minutes walk from the station) and 20-30 minutes away from JR Sapporo. The beds are comfy and the place is well insulated from the cold...

I began the first step of my semi-world journey in Hokkaido, Japan, and Ino`s Place has truly spoiled me. After flying from SF to LA, to Tokyo Narita, to New Chitose, then hopping on the JR to Shin-Sapporo, then on the subway, then walking four blocks to Ino`s Place, I couldn`t have picked a better place to land after such...

Located about 8 mins from the train station this was a good backpackers to stay in. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room sufficiently clean and the lounge area a great place to relax and have a tea/coffee/beer.

This is a nice and homely place to stay. Clean too. It's a bit further out of the city but then I guess the space and cleanliness makes up for it. It's almost a shame I was out everyday as I didn't really make use of the nice facilities they had! I stayed 3 nights in a single room which...
