Our Guide met us at Hiroshima Station as we got off the Shinkansen from Osaka. We walked off the platform and went up an escalator, passed many shops and restaurants in the station complex and seemingly under the same roof came into a large upmarket hotel foyer where our guide excused herself to go over to reception. We presumed she...

Booked direct on their website and our room and breakfast package was very reasonably priced. This hotel is directly connected to Hiroshima station and pretty easy to find. There was construction work in progress so these directions may change - if arriving on Shinkansen, once you exit the gates look for the information desk. There is a corridor on the...

Our visit was for three days two nights. Hotel Granvia is VERY easy to get to as it's literally next to the train station. The rooms are small but the bed was comfortable for the two of us. There's a grocery store across the street, it's an express store so has prepared foods and plenty of supplies that you may...

Found the Granvia to be very convenient as located just by the train station. Easy to use the local transport, i.e. the trams to get in to town, to see the bombed dome, art galleries and gardens. We were greeted by a very sweet girl, who took our very heavy cases to our room. The hotel lobby area looks very...

Great location in railway station. Welcoming and helpful staff. Good sized room. Nice night view from bar, drinks reasonably priced. Long walk to Shukkeien Gardens but worth it. Used sightseeing bus the Loop using our JR passes. Stop opposite Toshogu Shrine for a steep walk up to a view. If you can’t make the steps – go into the You...

We experienced a problem with the room cleaning that was handled in the most professional and profusely apologetic manner we have ever experienced in years of global travel. The hotel adjoins the Hiroshima train station, making the location most convenient. I return home with the bar set higher for the staff of my company.

This was a really luxury feeling hotel from the minute you walk into the lobby. Lovely room as well which was a good size for Japan. We went to the L&R restaurant and bar and had a fantastic meal. Highly recommended if you are visiting Hiroshima

After enjoying a breath-taking ride on Shinkansen bullet train, the least thing you would want is to stay in traffic aboard a taxi or public bus as you proceed to your hotel room. Well you shouldn't despair because Hotel Granvia offers you that opportunity to transit from a perfect means of transport to an auspicious accommodation experience. I stayed in...

We stayed at the Hotel Granvia Hiroshima for 1 night with other non-Japanese speakers.... it was recommended to us by a local. We took the bullet train and the hotel is a short walk from the train station. The Hiroshima station has underground pedestrian tunnels, shopping and restaurants and can be very confusing to a tourist. Hotel staff are friendly......

Right in the central area in Hiroshima, connected with train platform with many restaurants and shops next to it. Good for an overnight staying before your trip! Room is okay, food is alright, staffs are English speaking, toilet and bath-tube are clean. Say no more because it is worth your sleeping time!
