I booked this hotel a few months before our 2-week Japan trip and was able to get our room for ¥44,038 for an 8-night stay.

I’d say for the price, it was definitely worth it. The bed was comfortable enough. The bathroom is the usual bathroom module you’d see in many Japanese budget hotels. Amenities in the lobby were always stocked and the laundry machines were always working when we needed it.

There was also ample space in the bedroom that we could move around freely and rearrange our 4 luggages we had with ease. Not many budget hotels would have this, especially when we stayed in Tokyo (and also in Osaka during our previous trip).

The location is only a short walk from Kyoto station and around a 10 min. walk from the Aeon Mall, which made it convenient for us if we ever needed to stock up on snacks and some groceries.

Excellent location as right by Kyoto station which was so handy. Supermarkets everywhere near the hotel which we needed. The only negative was the size of the room which was pretty small so no where to put suitcases, but maybe because it was so cheap. We recommend this hotel highly !

Stayed in October 23. Tiny room but ok but you do need to be organised. Close to the station, about 6-7 minute walk. on the quieter side and with good amenities nearby. A Family Mart just up the street, sone restaurants short walk away including a curry house next door. Someone wrote that their is a shuttle bus to sites, which I wasn’t aware of. I saw no such bus nor was I told about it, so I’m sceptical about that .

The hotel is vey close to the train station which is very convenient .
The front desk employees were hardly there , the reception area looked deserted .
The room was very small . It was clean .
Overall had the look / feeling of a Motel 6 . The price was too high for what it is & what other hotels offer for less money .

Room wasn't so spacious (roughly 17 sqm) but very cozy, staff were very friendly especially Ma whose doing the night shift on 13 Nov (I hope I get his name right).

walking distance from Kyoto station and right across very nice curry restaurant.

They have vending machine, ice machine and washing machine in property and smoking area at the lobby.

Thank you for hosting e during my time in Kyoto!

Nice big room, comfortable beds, helpful staff and just a 5 minute walk from Kyoto Station’s Hachijo East Entrance. Towels changed daily and a welcome bottle of water was in the room. Washing machine and ice machine located on ground floor. We were able to drop off our luggage well before check in time. Plenty of convenience stores and eating places nearby. Definitely recommended for a great budget hotel.

This is a brand new hotel, in a new building, it has been opened just for a week, everything smells new and of course very clean.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are tiny very tight in there, if you are one person nothing to worry but if you are two is small, the bathroom is great, spacious considering how small the room is and the furniture is a bit unexpensive.

If you are not planning to stay in the room but to sleep is pretty good, specially with the price range is very good for Japan, which to find a hotel under $100 per night is unusual, without being a hostel.

We spent 5 nights at this hotel and chose it for the location. It is convenient for the station and bus station to get around Kyoto and to Nara. The rooms are small and whilst some people like the leg massagers etc., I would rather have had the room they were taking up.
The hotel is modern and clean and the bed comfortable. There is a laundry and reception helped us to send luggage to our next hotel. There is no restaurant for breakfast which was not a problem as we ate at the bakery in the station before heading out for the day.
We had a corner room overlooking the road and did find that the busses stopping at the traffic lights woke us in the mornings. Maybe other rooms were quieter.
We did not use their courtesy bus as it only ran certain days and even then not at convenient times. Anyway Kyoto was fairly easy to get around.
All in all the hotel represents good value for money and with better double glazing would merit 5 stars.

The best thing about this hotel is its location, just 4 minutes walking to the Kyoto station (Shinkansen exit). It is great if, like me, will be popping in and out of trains, as you can access the tracks in a few minutes walk.
The hotel itself is pretty new and modernly decorated. Rooms are average size for Japan (smallish) but you have everything you need in then. I was specially surprised by the face steamer machine to clean your pores!
There is a coin operated laundry room so it came handy to do our laundry there.
The staff is really nice and helpful. I would definitely consider staying there again.

Hotel is modern and clean. However, it is far from everything except Kyoto Station. They make you choose between having your room cleaned (e.g. bed made) and amenities changed everyday (e.g. new towels, and re-stock on water and toothpaste/shampoo and conditioner). They also charge a room tax, per person, per night. If this is the case, then it is ridiculous that we need to be making a choice between having the room cleaned and amenities changed. As a hotel, these basic services are what we pay for, and what should be covered in the room tax.
