The quality hotel itself is quite fair, but the overall environment around that area is not so hygienic, since there are some homeless people wandering around at night. If you are not annoyed by the cigarette smoke, you can consider hotel kava. It seems that the hotel is runned by a Taiwanese, who is very friendly and willing to tell you about...

The price is great for what you get, private room, fridge, AC, TV with many good channels, and most importantly, traditional Japanese tatami mat and futon bed. The wifi is more than fast, I can watch Netflix, play online multiplayer games, teach online with video conferencing, anything. Also location is great overall. Right next to JR station Shin-imamiya, and spa...

This hotel has a good location. You can go to major destinations conveniently. There are 2 stations walking distance from the hotel, Don Quixote shopping mall, where you can buy and choose many souvenirs from, and convenience stores. The hotel was smelly though. The smell of cigarette smoke is too much that it penetrates through the walls of your room...

It's hard to rate Hotel Kaga: if you are a backpacker and touring Japan on a very limited budget, then you will love this hotel. Everything you might need is here in the building or within 5 minutes walk. In the hotel there is a college-style community toilet and sink room on each floor; The men's contains 2 Western-style and...

So this hotel is a business hotel, so is aimed at salarymen and women staying somewhere for a short space of time. For me, a sole female tourist trying to find a cheap place it wasn't so great. The area it is in is pretty shady and made me feel quite uncomfortable especially after dark. When I locked myself in...

I hadn't done my research on the area (or at least I had, but hadn't quite taken it seriously!) The area the hotel is supposedly the most dangerous area in Japan, I had read that areas of Osaka could be a little rough and dangerous but figured "its japan! how dangerous could it possibly be? certainly not as dangerous as...

I booked it at a very cheap price just for keeping my bags and taking a shower before my midnight flight. Lovely receptionist. Old room that smelled of cigarettes. But so new and clean bathroom and shower. I have no complaints. It's 5 mins walk to airport railway. Will book again :)

the rooms are extremely smelly, even the non-smoking rooms. A lot of homeless people live around this area. Two policemen stopped me when I was walking to the subway station, and told me, that this area is dangerous, when it gets dark. In addition, during my stay in this hotel, I got about 30-40 bed bug bites all over my...

I stayed here because everything was fully booked but didn't regret it. In fact, I totally enjoyed having a small room all to myself at the price of a hostel (I had been staying at hostels for months). The wifi was weak (I was on the 6th floor) but the bathroom was super nice and clean. The room was clean...
