Everyone in this hostel is just super friendly. Specially Jenn, the pretty owner who helps everyone out with her heart. The outlook and interiors of the hostel give lots of tropical atmosphere which I like it so much! Mattress is comfortable. Each room got its own AC with remotes which is a plus. Beers and water is cheap at the...

Deciding to travel by train from Singapore to Chang Mai with stops on the way enabled me to discover some real gems in accommodation along the way, one especially memorable stay was my 2nights at the Tropical Guest House in KL. expertly managed by Jennifer Mok and her very able crew I was immediately made to feel at home and...

A great little place in the heart of KL. 60Rm a night for a clean, bright room with AC. Its small but it works and is quiet. The shared facilities are good. Free wifi and very friendly service finish the package.

We booked 3 nights in a 'deluxe double'. The room was small (size of a double bed) and windowless, but nicely decorated. The guesthouse in general was fine. Our criticism is that it is very noisy, our room was proberly 2 metres from the reception/bar area. The hostel likes to make extra money by selling cheap beer and to play...

We stayed here on our stop over from Melbourne before flying onto London. The guesthouse is located in a great spot central for shopping and has some fantastic eating places close by. Staff were extremely friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the ambience of the rooms, and it was a very relaxing atmosphere. Would recommend this place...

We stayed here back in Nov 2010 (been on the road with no time to review, until now), this was our first experience of a hotel with shared bathrooms! It was an excellent place to start our travels and Jen was an incredible host. It was a bit noisy, but that was due to other guests rather than the location....

We stayed in the "Presidential suite" which can be compared to a good budget hotel. they also have 2 other hotel style rooms and the (normal) rooms are guest house style with shared bathrooms. Staff is helpful and location is superb. Get around on the hop-on hop-off bus and get breakfast opposite the street in the Indian restaurant. The "Rot...

Stayed with my partner for 3 nights and had a great time! Good atmosphere and friendly people right near the heart of the city. Pleasant drinking in the evening though not too noisy for an early night!

“Quit complaining at cheap guest houses. If you don't like it after one night, you can try another and another to your hearts content in Asia. Be a happy camper no matter where you stay and you'll have a great trip. This place is 5 star in my book.”
