Last Sunday 29 Feb, I went to W Hotel had a breakfast with my friends.
I like Flock restaurant design and environment, stylish and modern
Their breakfast is buffet style and their also have some their signature breakfast in their menu, I like their food especially smoked salmon egg benny, this is from their menu, i highly recommended.
Their service is bravo, why i said so ? Because when i entered Flock, their staff even is busy to clear table, they still will look at each customers and talk friendly and giving warm services. This is how i feel at their professional services.
A good compliment i would like to give a staff named Hanis, because he is the person who recommend the smoked salmon egg benny, haha, he is a friendly person and he know how to give some suggestions to customers to have a good meal early in the morning. Thanks for his recommendation, I will recommend more friends to Flock to have a great meal again^^

Hello Haleychua, You have made my day! We’re thrilled that you enjoyed the breakfast experience with us - fab! When you’re happy, we’re happy. I’m happy to know that our Talents were friendly and took good care of you and it is kind of you to highlight our breakfast at Flock and you are correct regarding the variety choice of foods. I continue to get great comments from our guests. Our food is made of organically grown products as as well as artisanal delights, such as locally made cheeses and chocolates; even the honey is locally sourced, the Tualang Honey, a Malaysian multifloral jungle honey. We try to please all palates and preferences. Once again, thank you for your review on TripAdvisor…much appreciated! Please do not hesitate to contact me via Christian.metzner@whotels.com if I can be of your assistance in person. We’ll be here when you’re ready to come back. Visit anytime. Have a fab week. I live in Sydney, Australia but had to be back to Malaysia to look after my mom who had stroke. My birthday was on the 30th Oct however my husband and in laws wanted to treat me to get some rest and a nice bath. W has always been my fav and any city that has a W Hotel i would definitelt stay at.

This is the first time im checking in the W in KL and i cant express how hospitalble every single staff has been from the beginning until the end of my stay! I wanted to book a spectacular room but Pavan convinced i would much enjoy the Marvelous Suite but then the Room Director Sudhir decided to surprise me with a better room.

I cant believe they surprised me with a WoW room! I was give n a complimentary drink to wait while they sanitize the room and once it was ready i went up without realising how Amazing the room was !! I invited a small group of friends to celebrate my birthday and The hotel even gave a complimentary cake!

I did not leave the hotel the next 24 hours. I enjoyed the bath in the room, the gym was so equipped and clean, had dinner at The Pool area and the food was delicious.

I did work the next day accompanied by the W breakfast in room dining and again it was spectacular!

I cant thank Ashley, Christine, Pavan and most of All Sudhir for making my birthday an. Unforgetable one ! Will definitely come again with my loving husband back to the same room!!!

I love you guys! Thanks again!

This is my family first overseas trip since Covid. It is also our first time visiting Malaysia. The trip has been fantastic through out the period. We chose W Hotels because Kuala Lumpur is our last stop and we want our last stay to be the peak. W Hotel has ticked every box.
The hotel is right next to the Petronas Towers, my spectacular room has nice view on the Towers. The room we have is artfully designed with many fun gadgets: all room setting buttons are sensor controlled. Tea and coffee making facilities are concealed behind a red frosted glass door, plenty of usb charge points so I don’t really need to pull out my travel adaptor.
All hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Syah from concierge team has not only delivered our luggage’s to our rooms, but also spent time to demonstrate how to operate various lights/blinds controls.
Thank you W Hotel, our Malaysia trip has left us a great memory.

I have stayed twice already since Malaysia opened up and it is fast becoming a home from home. On both occasions, I was upgraded to a beautiful suite in view of my Titanium Marriott Bonvoy status and it was truly exceptional. Lovely welcome gifts - including an edible white chocolate coffee cup... - were left in my room as part of my welcome.
I love the W ambience and this hotel is something else with its responsiveness and flexibility. This is one of those hotels where the Marriott chat app works very well.
The vibe at this hotel is fantastic of course and the Wet Deck is one of KL's most sought after destinations, especially for its instagrammable shot of the Petronas Towers... but what really stood out for me is how many staff members recognised me and, in Flock, remembered what o liked to eat for breakfast and rustled it up before I even had to place an order.
One additional touch I should mention: there are not many hotels where the bathroom amenities include a facewash, but the W does. Something for other brands to think about.
I will be going back to the W for sure.

An old school Luxury Hotel in the heart of Downtown Kuala Lumpur which literally takes your “views” seriously or should we say, to an entirely new level especially with the phenomenal view of the Petronas Towers at dusk from their Wet Deck.

The booking and check in process was an absolute breeze with them waiting for us while we took a couple of shots of the reception area instead of us waiting for them which some hotels tend to do.

Their rooms were tastefully decorated with even a panel by the bedside enabling guests to adjust the mood lighting from the comforts of their bed! From the window, you will get a pretty awesome view of the twin towers. However, it was a little too close for comfort for us so you kinda have to crane your head up a wee bit but for that view, who wouldn’t?

Last but not least, the bed!! Goodness, during our stay at the Ritz Singapore, we thought that their bed was by far the most comfortable we have ever experienced. But here at W Hotel, their bed would really give the Ritz a good run for their money. It was so comfortable that we didn’t feel like leaving the bed once we got into it!

The only downside about the room was that, because of their proximity to a main junction, you will get quite a fair bit of noise from the road especially at night. Beyond that, it was everything that you would expect from a Luxury Hotel, especially one which is part of the Marriott family.

On first impressions, it felt as though we wandered into a contemporary art museum. Chic and stylishly designed. A little like E&O but a younger, hippie and more refreshing look.

Dining wise, guests are pretty spoilt for choice with the famous Wet Deck which leans more towards cocktails and bar food and has absolutely stunning views both day and night. However, it does fill up pretty quick so we strongly recommend bookings to avoid disappointment! (We saved this for Sunset)

Then there’s Flock (which we didn’t try), another restaurant tucked away at the back with a Farm to Fork on in their own words “Flock” concept which offered what looked like a pretty mouth watering Sunday Brunch.

Feeling oriental and posh? Head over to Yen where Chinese cuisine is served with a twist and in a pretty stylish manner.

Last but not least, feeling cheeky with a lust for a sweet treat high tea on a Sunday or simply a cocktail after sundown? Woobar is the place to be!

The only downside about the room was that, because of their proximity to a main junction, you will get quite a fair bit of noise from the road especially at night. Beyond that, it was everything that you would expect from a Luxury Hotel, especially one which is part of the Marriott family.

Ok those that might read my once in a while posts will know I like quality !!

I don't mind paying for it.

The bi weekly brunch at the W Hotel (out of MCO) is fabulous !! Good food selection for the cost !!! Book early as it gets full, take the drinks package as you will easily drink what you pay up front. Take friends too, it currently has cool music with a awesome saxophonist playing along with the chill out tracks.

You will love the atmosphere, if you do go say hello to Christian the GM tell him I sent you.

Enjoy !!!

Celebrating my kid’s birthday and booked Spectacular room with Twin Towers view, so you can imagine how much we paid for the room. Complimentary cake was disappointing, we needed to get another cake outside just to get a proper picture of the birthday celebration. They don’t have any shuttle to KLCC, so we have to walk with little kids on tow crossing the busy streets and all. Called for extra towels, we only got them 40 minutes later after multiple calls. Literally can get better room-for-value anywhere else, i have paid for less than half the room price elsewhere and still be satisfied. Staff were awesome though. Definitely will not come here again and will not recommend this place to family and friends.

New and modern hotel. Room was clean and well kept. Able to use mobile phone as room key which is great as you don't have to carry the usual key card. Staff friendly and accommodating. Only feedback would be Flock restaurant's music was too loud during the buffet dinner. Music should be just in the background and not overpower table conversation. Otherwise great hotel.

Celebrated my birthday with my SO just yesterday, was surprised at how posh-looking the place was. We were upgraded to a nice corner room which was already a very pleasant surprise and was greeted with a little cake + balloons to celebrate the occasion. The view of the twin towers at the pool deck was amazing, even our hotel room allowed us to soak in the twin towers in all its beauty

We ended our stay with lunch at Yen Cantonese restaurant, and since it was our first time there, we asked one of the staff to recommend some of the delicacies to us. Mr Elvin Wong's recommendations was spot on and a total delight as we absolutely enjoyed the Xiao Long bao and the "Ha gao". He even went as far as preparing another small customized birthday cupcake for me upon hearing that we were celebrating my birthday. A+ to his customer service and listening skills. Shout out to all the other courteous staff too

All in all, definitely a recommended place to stay

I had an upsetting experience at W hotel.

I selected W Hotel because I was having my wedding reception and matrimony at Willow Kuala Lumpur. Willow operates separately from W Kuala Lumpur so we don’t get special room rates. So I was paying full service. I planned to have my bridal shoot in the hotel room before we headed down for our reception and I arranged for housekeeping at 7am when I was having breakfast. I even reminded the receptionist at 6 am the next day.

When I went up expecting the room to be fully well kept and my make up artist had arrived, I was shocked that the housekeeping was not ready. And what made me upset was when I went to the receptionist to demand what exactly was the issue they told me they arranged it at 8am!

I was outraged as the wedding planners/ the photographer and the videographers were coming soon and the room was not ready. And I need to mention that I was paying full price for this room which is almost equivalent to the price of a 4 seasons or st regis. This was not a discounted room rate!

If it wasn’t for the fact that I chased the receptionist I wouldn’t have gotten the room ready. And that’s not the worst thing every request I asked, including getting the room slightly decorated for the wedding day which was promised was not even carried out. When I called and asked they said “oh is too last minute, we didn’t receive the request”. But another receptionist verified that the request was already in.

Not only that, Flock was also disappointing. There were two waitresses that were mending the beverages, however they did not carry out the drinks that we requested. In fact I’m not sure they ignored us or they completely forgot but what pissed me off was that they prioritised westerner tourist’s later request!!! I felt sidelined and mistreated as a hotel guest and am completely upset.

It made me wonder why am I paying that sort of cost, for such super lousy service. And not prioritise and given equal treatment as a customer and on my special day. I was actually considering another staycation with my family members later on. But at this point of time I don’t think this cost the lousy experience and upsetting services I’m getting.
