Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Impeccable service, top notch facilities and environment. Room is perfect, as how I would imagine. Just one small improvement : more breakfast variety. Otherwise overall experience is good and unmatched

overall is a good experience, love the design of the inner space, staff are friendly, but they should pay more attention to avoid confusing different request made by each room. I was awakened by phone call saying that my order is ready or something while i did not make any orders

Spent the weekend here for a city staycation because it was recommended by family. Highly recommend this hotel because of the incredible comfort of the space. The bed was so soft and you basically fuse with it. I personally love that they have the blackout function - perfect for sleeping in. However, 2 cons would be firstly the location is not too close to public transportation. Although it is walking distance to KLCC and Pavilion, it wasn't too walkable for a pregnant woman. But for a fit person, definitely walkable. Secondly would be that there aren't really nice views from the Grand King Room or Pool area so if you're looking for a nice view of KLCC, you'd probably be disappointed. So if these two cons are not in your concern, this place is perfect for a romantic staycation or familycation and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic staff full of knowledge and keen to help. Within good walkable reach of the Petronas Towers and the Craft emporium. Would be great to get the hop on hop off buses to create a nearer stopping point.

The RuMA Hotel is situated in the Golden Triangle and within walking distance to Pavillion, making it a great option to stay. It is rated to be a 5 star hotel so expectation was really high when we checked in. Let's start with the rooms first. Rooms were beautiful and the beds were comfortable. As I celebrated my birthday they even had a nice touch of adding in a small cake with a note. However, the water in the room was lukewarm at best. I was looking forward to trying the the tub and frankly water was not hot. Room is not 100% sound proof as you can hear laughter from the hallway. Additionally, calling for service from your room is like playing roulette, which was such an astonishment to me. If you need additionally toiletry or wanted to check on something be prepared that your call may go unanswered - something I never experience in any hotels I have stayed at. This is unaccepatable. We dined at Atas for lunch while we waited to check in. Lunch menu was nice. However, during breakfast be prepared that the buffet is limited and if you wanted some eggs - there are items on the menu which you will need to top up - which I thought ridiculous. Additionally there were FLIES in the restaurant and when we raised the point - it was as if they knew but did nothing about it. Simple things like ensuring the buffet had candles and tables have candles to prevent flies from landing would have been great. Sister got grossed out seeing a fly land on the salami at the buffet spread. Lastly, we thought of having cakes at the Librari. Tea came by the pot and was truly worth it but the coffee was one of the worst my sister had. For RM25 it was unaccepatble and service needs to be improved. Additionally there was a lady (I will call her Crumblina) who actually went to the cakes which were on displayed at glass containers to sample on the crumbs with HER BARE HANDS! As no one was attending or monitoring this she got away (and order champagned instead). However this was truly unhygienic! My verdict? The RuMA fails to live up to it's 5 stars status. While we had many friendly folks who served us it felt that the whole hotel was skimping on things. Would I revisit and rebook my stay? Most likely not unless they change they way they do business.

My first time staying in this hotel. Room was spacious and clean, with ample necessities that should be included in a 5 star hotel. Checked in at a rather late timing, but transaction was smooth with no hiccups. Loved the view of the grand park room. Would definitely come back again!
