This place used to by a fun very engaged couple and the neighborhood was really quiet. They kept the place immaculate and I used to always stay there when on a visa run from Bali. Let 3 years pass. Now there are people sleeping all over the street and the entire area is rundown and sleazy. The property itself has...

Stayed as a Leader on a World Challenge expedition. Though the approach looks a little suspect, this is a secure, clean, well kept and inviting hostel. The owners were really friendly, helpful and genuinely happy to have us there. The rooms have air con, there is hot water and decent showers. There is also a great communal room on the...

This hotel probably is the worst I have ever been to. And I don't say this often. First the good news: the two persons I saw working here both were sympathetic. And the location of the hotel is good. Several restaurants around. Then the bad news: the staff never seemed to be at the reception, no duvet or blanket, no...

I stayed in this hostel for 4 nights. When I arrived and showed them my reservation from booking.com for a single room they said that someone had already booked this room on agoda.com (and was staying in it when I arrived) and so I can't move in. Well, poor organisation I must say, especially taking into account that I booked...

Don't be shocked, when you enter the stairway to the 2nd floor. The rooms are clean, the showers are ok. You can reach nearly everything by foot. It's good for a short stay in KL to see the city. It should be called Homestay, because you life with the family, which is really friendly and helpful.

Staff are very friendly and caring, although there is a slight communication barrier in English with the new owners. But rooms are quite noisy - the walls are thin and noise from the streets and from other guests on the floor penetrate very easily. Location is great (short walk to Masjid Jamek LRT station and Pudu Central intercity bus station)...

Awesome staff. We came in around four o'clock in the night an there was still someone awake to help us! Great! Rooms are simple but clean. Shared showers are small but clean. Tip; make extra hangers to hang stuff. Location is good. Easy to get to places.

I spent two weeks in serai inn with my friendly last year. The location was convenient. It took a 3min walk to nearest mrt and bus station. The staff were friendly and willing to share travelling tips in KL and some neighbouring cities. They were able to communicate in English and some Chinese dialects. The accommodation was not bad. However,...

“If you like quiet place better don't choose a room with window because they are facing the main road. Every room is equipped with AC so windows is not a big deal here.”

“Rooms are basically 2 rows of parallel thin walls in a big space, so lots of them will have no window. Ask for a twin room (instead of a double), I believe all these have windows”

“Don't choose single rooms, as they're way too small for comfort. The dorms are a lot more comfortable, unless you don't like to meet new strangers. The Lockers provided are pretty small, so make sure you don't carry too many stuff that needs to be put into the locker. It can hold atmost a 15" laptop + camera etc.”
