This hostel was amazing! close to a train station and only a 20/30min Grab from the airport. Only stayed 2 nights but was an amazing vibe - great friendly and helpful staff who gave us all the recommendations for both what to do in the area and what to in the area we were moving to. The rooms were clean and comfortable with good AC when the temp was adjusted, small lockers for personal belongings and plugs right next to the bed, not to mention the fact that they have an open bar every day for an hour with incredible amaretto sours and the food is to die for. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Decent hostel. Was good for a layover. Had a private room. There was a rooftop bar, but didn’t seem to be much going on when I arrived. There is also breakfast included. There is a security guard at the entrance, which helped to make me feel safe.

This place is a oasis in the middle of the chaos that Manila as a city is. Nice beds, good shower, lockers and free breakfast in an awesome rooftop. The staff is great, thanks to Onnie and her team for helping us in anything we needed.
All the best for you.

My stay at Ola Hostel left me with a rather disappointing impression overall. While there were a few redeeming features, several issues made it a less than enjoyable experience.

Firstly, the evening atmosphere in the lobby was simply lackluster. There was no music or any form of entertainment, which created a somewhat lifeless environment. This made it quite challenging to socialize with other guests or even just relax and unwind after a day of exploring the city.

While they advertised a "free breakfast" offering, the catch was that it was only available until 9 am. For travelers who like to sleep in or take their mornings at a leisurely pace, this limited breakfast window could be a significant inconvenience.

Another noticeable drawback was the apparent disinterest of the hostel staff after breakfast hours. It felt as though they didn't want to be bothered with guest inquiries or assistance, which can leave guests feeling unsupported and unwelcome.

On a more positive note, my room had a veranda, which was a pleasant feature and provided a nice place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

In conclusion, while the room with a veranda was a plus, the dead evening lobby, absence of music, restricted breakfast hours, and the staff's disengagement during certain times significantly impacted my overall experience at Ola Hostel, making it a less-than-ideal choice for my stay.

The best hostel I've been to! Perfect for staying before or after flight. Very affordable and as they promised I got free light breakfast and drinks during the evening. The bathroom was clean and everything is working. They even have bidet lol. Timing, I was the only one in the room with 6 beds supposedly I should be sharing with other people. But still made friends at their roof top bar anyway. I already missed it and would love to book again whenever I have to go to Manila.

The Ola Hostel is a great place to stay. It was our first stop in the Philippines and the staff was very welcoming. We could check-in early and had no problem extending our stay when we asked to. The rooftop bar was great and had everything you could ask for. The staff at the front desk was helpful and gave us lots of information. Our room had a little balcony and it was nice to watch the city at night. I would definitely go back and stay there again. It's a great welcome to the Philippines.

Super friendly staff! Excellent and comfy beds (could be upgraded with curtains and a shelf/sockets - but a great night's sleep) Awesome rooftop with a good bar and decent priced foods. It's very easy to meet other travelers and the atmosphere is amazing! The free booze happy hour is good for connecting people. Highly recommend for the price. (stayed 5 nights bc of the Vulcano eruption)

Clean rooms, good vibe, nice people! We arrived at 1:30 at night but got warm welcome at the reception. We had the room to ourselves. Next morning got some complementary breakfast at their very cosy rooftop bar. Had a very pleasant stay in Manila at Ola. Thanks all!

Really enjoyed my 3 night stay at Ola, newly renovated and has the right idea! Lots of rooms, comfortable beds and aircon
Good atmosphere at the rooftop bar in the evenings, where they have Netflix/youtube on the TV, beer pong too!
The staff were very friendly and attentive :) free water is always great
They seem to be having slight teething issues organisationally but still deserve 5 stars for the efforts!! One to watch out for and one of the cheapest in manila! You won't regret staying here! :)
