Nice looking hotel with a good size room. Value was good and had a nice view. Staff were all lovely and helpful.
Unfortunately the bed was really bad and the wifi was either off or poor quality for the 3 nights I stayed. Some 19 floors mean you are waiting for the lift during busier periods.

It’s very nice of Manager Alex allowed me to check in early. Checking in and out was a breeze. Room is quite big and very comfortable and clean. Location is great too with Robinson place just opposite and many convenient stores, bars and restaurants within walking distances. Will definitely stay there again in the future.

It’ll be even better if it comes with a small gym at least.

I was returning to Phils after a 6 month "Covid Vacation" when I left I was lucky to have by chance stayed at Las Palmas Hotel. When I contacted them they said they were all QUARANTINE HOTEL and try Palm Grove. When I arrived I was soooo happy to see they had moved staff from Las Palms here. On the last stay this same staff were outstanding and took great care of me and they were all here. They all remembered me (I am colorful fellow) and were 100% on the ball. Cel checked me (a real pro), Jade, doorman/concierge was there for every need, and Perry took care of some business needs. I know I missed at least two others that I can not compliment by name but they all were great. Building is different but staff were superb. Lucky manager here, wish they worked for me.

We have just returned from a week at the Palm Plaza Hotel, Manila. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone. In fact, we would warn everyone considering this hotel to be very careful.
Things were not right from the start: Reservations were booked well in advance and confirmed prior to boarding the flight. However, upon arrival we were informed that there was no reservation. We disputed this and were then told that even though advance reservations may have been made there was no guarantee a room was actually available. We disputed this and were then told that a much inferior room was available and we could transfer to the room we had reserved the next day. We accepted this and were then told that the room was not available for 3 hours, and that just because a room was available did not mean it was available right now. All we wanted was a shower and some sleep. When we finally got into the room there was not hot water.
The next morning we began requesting the promised transfer. We were told 10 am, then 12 pm, then 1 pm. Upon returning from lunch we discovered security personnel in our room taking inventory of everything. Rather than complain, we asked that our transfer be expedited. Within minutes we were transferred to another room that, other than the story, was identical to the previous room. The 2 twin beds were pushed together, forming an uncomfortable gap in the middle. There was no hot water. We decided to find another hotel.
In accordance with the hotel rental agreement, we packed our valuables in a small bag and delivered them to the front desk to be placed in the custody of the hotel for safekeeping (there being no in room safe) and went out. Upon returning we discovered that most of the valuables left in custody of the hotel were stolen. We filed a complaint. A person identifying himself as "head of hotel security" took us into an office to fill out an affidavit. An investigation would be initiated.
The next morning we confronted hotel management and were introduced to another person identifying himself as "head of hotel security." This person stated that our valuables were not placed into the safe, but were instead placed with other luggage which could be accessed by anyone and therefore the hotel was not responsible for our loss. We disputed this stating that there was no loss but a theft by hotel personnel. We had complied to the letter with hotel regulations and if the hotel staff had not kept their end of the bargain that was at best incompetence and at worst collusion with intent to defraud. Security then stated that we had not complied properly as we had not provided the hotel with a detailed, written accounting of every item and its value to be held by the hotel. We disputed this and encouraged the hotel to show us where this new rule was posted (they could not because there is no such rule). We further stated that the nature of our valuables was not the business of the hotel, only that we had requested the hotel to keep them safe. Security then stated, in a complete about face, that the best thing all around would have been for us to leave our valuables in the room because a theft would then require a breaking and entering which was impossible. We disputed this citing the rental agreement instructing us to place all our valuables into hotel custody for safekeeping. We further pointed out that the hotel was not only condoning theft by its employees but involving itself in a cover up. It was clear that nothing would be done to remedy this situation.
We were unable to secure another hotel on such short notice, it being the start of the Christmas season, so we remained at the Palm Plaza for the duration of our stay. Two days before leaving, security personnel came to the room and asked if we were finding everything satisfactory. One day prior to leaving we ran into the first "head of hotel security" in the local mall. He saluted us and smirked. Upon checkout we were told that we had to wait while the hotel inventoried the room to make certain we had not stolen anything.
This was by far the worst, rudest, most insulting hotel we have ever stayed in, anywhere in the world. We will never stay there again.

Hotel is average. It's definitely not luxury. But the location is good. Just across Robinson's mall. And the price is not bad. No frills kind of operation.

Booked 2nights from Aug.25 for my mother. Received confirmation. This staff JACQUELYN RADA, started asking i.d's, passport copy, front and back of credit card (really??) ,authorization letter, etc. It's as if I am applying for a bank loan! By far the WORST hotel booking I ever experienced. Hotel room is the cheapest you can stay around the area. I meant cheapest by the room quality and poor staff, not the room rate. Aircon is noisy, and toilet smells bad even before you use it. This hotel needs a revamp and proper staff training in customer service. The way your hotel and room looks is the same replica of your under-trained staff.

I stayed in this hotel with a very good friend of mine. She was from the province and has a little problem in speaking tagalog. When she checked in, no one seemed to be willing to assist her. Although she arrived before some foreign guests to the frontdesk, the staffs had assisted the foreigner first and made her wait for almost half an hour. They even laughed at her when she tried to speak and get their attention. This is just rude and unacceptable. I arrived later to check in and have experienced the same thing. The room is good but the experience is bad. It's unfair that they treat their fellowmen less politely than they treat foreigners. It's a shame. We'll not go back in there again.
