I'll try to stay at this hotel whenever I have to go to Manila. The restaurant has great food and friendly staffs. The only problems I encounter is the internet connection which seems to have problems most of the time and the half glass in the shower area.

I advise against making a reservation at this hotel. Worst service I've ever had. Everything in the room is broken, and the staff is incredibly slack. Avoid staying at this hotel if you require a quarantine room; you will be made to suffer there.

We took advantage of the great deal of having a room worth 3700+ for only 998. But then we were so disappointed of the location. Its as if you cant leave the place without being harmed. Under the hotel is a parlor. They have no signage of "Manila Venetian hotel". I dont think this is legit. Their website is very far from reality. Low quality. Their lobby is not accomodating. There is no aircon. Their employees are not well groomed. The deluxe room they were speaking of is so small. The bed is not really good. Looks dirty and old. Same as the linens. On our bed they put a linen which can be bought on the streets which are so cheap. The towels they gave seems to be very dirty. We barely move, actually we decided not to move too much to limit ourselves for some dirt in the room. The phone isnt really working. As we entered the room we were like "does this really cost 1000 bucks?". They dont have tissue on the bathroom which is a big no no. Their food can be bought from carinderias as I obseved in the pictures. Dont attempt to order. Their regular price per room is not equivalent of the service and the room. The aircon i think is 1/2-1 hp and as if no air coming out. We did not stay for long in this hotel. I recommend not to go to this hotel or else you will regret it. Photos on any website are very different from the actual. I took time to make this review because the advertisements that they have were very deceitful for clients.

Manila Venetian Hotel is not worth spending even a single centavo! Their service is horrible. Accomodation of 2 but they will only provide one towel which is only hand towel. Breakfast was just the cheapest value meal from a fast food restaurant. Staff has no phone etiquette and definitely not trained to work on a hotel. Hall way was so narrow and as far as I know there is no fire exit. It doesn't look like a hotel and doesn't feel like one either. Worst worst worst!

I don't know how to express it into words but, this is the worst hotel that I experience so far. I don't even know if I will consider Manila Venetian as a Hotel, for me its more of an APPARTELLE to me than a Hotel, if you will see the the sample picture of facade of the said Hotel, in agoda.com, you will understand why am I saying this. I really don't do comments for a bad service, but this is worst than terrible.

I totally agreed to ccveloso for the comment. ccveloso said "Manila Venetian Hotel is not worth spending even a single centavo!". the rate is too pricey for a service and everything. let me explain why.

Me and my gf, try this hotel as a metrodeal promo. how metrodeal describe the hotel is sooo fantastic but yet they will disappoint you. I was a bit suspicious about the place, an astonishing hotel stands in Sta. Cruz, Manila that is something you have to be doubtful plus they offer for a cost 998.00 pesos is a very good deal, now that is dangerous. so we were thinking a place to stay with, and there were a lot of options, and then we saw this deal so we check it out. as we went to the place we really cant find the hotel, even the locals are not familiar with the place. then i saw a building i said to myself, definitely this is not it. I was expecting like Manila Opera, Or something like that, since what i saw in the pictures in metrodeal i was thinking sometime unique, well it turns out unique in a different way.

first off, the building come on. this is not a hotel this is a freaking apartelle. as soon as we gets near the building i said to my gf, the entrance is like a funeral parlor.

the lobby its very narrow. i mean the 2 of us can't even fit.

the front desk, worst.... that all

now the room. i don't know where EcoChicWeddings and danilene I,get there comments or is there any other manila venetian hotel that we did not saw? I mean if you read there comments as if its heaven, they describe it as if you will be WOW. the room was not spacious at all, no wifi, the attendant say wifi is avail but its not. room phone is not working i don't know if the phone is part of the decoration or something you have to go down stairs to get ask for something. very poor service, i think the only part is the air conditioning i think its brand new.

the food/ breakfast, they have meal for the day, meals were only SILOG, you have to choose from tapsilog, daing, tocino, mix, long. no porkchop or chicken. and they were not aware that we will get the breakfast, i went down to check and get the breakfast and yet they did not disappoint me, still no breakfast, so i just told them just packed the breakfast we just going to take out the food.

food is uneatable, the rice smells cockroach, no exaggeration we couldn't eat it. so we ended up eating in one of the best tapsilog in the area, the food was @(!!? no words can describe it and they are selling it for 100.00 pesos each meal.

the food is not the worst part, the price. on there site the price ranges from 1,300 and up, and if you check nearby hotels there is a lot that you can get for that price with buffet. you can choose SOGO or Eurotel or any other Manila Opera Hotel. for a better experience

ROOM:
The smallest i've seen! Linens are old and dirty! The door has no additional security locks and that one door lock is also broken as if it was forcefully opened before and we felt as if someone is ready to kick our door open and invade us!

BATHROOM:
NO exhaust fan, NO tissue paper, and VERY SMALL. Their free toiletries are cheap! They gave us a shampoo that is not even the whole sachet[2 in 1 sachet type], it was cut in half!

LOCATION:
We asked tricycle, pedicab and jeepney drivers if they know the Hotel but no one really knows where this is located. It was our last option to call the hotel staff and ask for directions on how we'll be able to arrive! Getting there, they have no signage that's visible to public, their main entrance is just at the corner of a Beauty Salon, there was no security guard!

VICINITY
The worst. Please don't go here esp. when its rainy season! It was just 2 hours that we checked in at decided to look for some good food outside, it started raining maybe an hour before that and we were very shocked to see just outside the hotel is a knee high flood! Even more, there has been 50 street kids swimming and tripping on every vehicle that tries to pass by. They are throwing them plastic with flood water, floating trashes and even stones and woods to break the glass windows and shields of the vehicles. It was like we are seeing a "riot'. WORST. We felt like we are in a tedious place where peace can't be spelled out. It is just my buddy have the guts to ask other watching kids to buy us food on the nearby carinderia in exchange for P20.

FOOD
Their 'complimentary breakfast' in the deal package was just 2 warm 3-in-1 coffee and 2 HOTSILOG.

We bought the voucher on Metrodeal for a price of P998 and valued at P3,500++. This is not even a hotel. Are they really serious?? Our experience is supposedly priced at P3,500??

Venetian is not a hotel just a hostel! Facilities are old and feffective.Linens are cheap and itchy. The location was scarry and room was narrow! Above all, the manager was unskilled, crooked and doesn't know about costumer service as part of bussiness! Venetian the poorest hotel in Manila. Its just a disapointment, waste of time and money if you stay there. So,tourist and visitor, never ever attempt to book there. Or else, it will a big disapointment and regret!

we had the worst experience ever at the venetian hotel..every single thing is worthless at a big crap.. so disappointed, before we took our ojt we tried their accomodations but it was so awful, no phone service, no water and the place is evem hardly to call a hotel.. but still we took our ojt there bcoz were already paid, the staffs are not even well mannered and not groomed, they would even ask us to clean the other building which is not part of the hotel but owned by the managress of the venetian.. they dont have kitchen, no sink, they wash na plates and other utensils on the floor, the food was also bought in bentelog. Tsk tsk i dont recommend this restaurant. You can see it yourself but you will regret it..
