After enjoying our first visit in April we decided to return for the last week in September. Would it be as good second time around? As our taxi arrived at the hotel we were greeted as returning friends by Fahri. Again, from our arrival until our departure 7 days later we were made to feel that this was not a hotel but our home. The superb weather meant that we were able to make good use of the pool which we didn't use in April. Everything about this hotel suits us perfectly. Great staff, tasty, healthy Turkish breakfast, comfortable room, spacious terrace, inviting pool and the best view in Bodrum. We are already planning another visit for 2020..

We stayed at the Antique Theatre in Bodrum Turkey. Location and views from the hotel was incredible. Very clean rooms, swimming pool, very good breakfast. Road traffic behind but was quiet at night. A short but steep path down to harbour and marina. Daily boat trips. Very good restaurants. Town beach and taxi boat to other beach close by. Short walk to bazaar and shopping areas. In all a great holiday!

Very pleasant holiday. Amazing view over Bodrum. Great pool. Quiet despite being close to a busy road. Next to the Greek amphitheatre. Staff in particular Farid very friendly and helpful. Bathroom a bit tight and bed on the hard side but overall a great place. Enjoyed our stay very much. 15 mns walk down hill to the harbour and its restaurant. Also shops restaurants 2 supermarkets Migros and Carrefour and laundry shop within 5 mns walk. Recommend it

The lovely swimming pool comes with an amazing view of the bay and the castle! Our room was small but clean (the bathroom was tiny but cute... just fine). The host was fantastic and the service was excellent. There's a very nice breakfast buffet served from 8-10am. You can walk down to the beach / castle area in about 20 minutes. The hotel is located across the (very busy) street from the ancient ampitheater, so it's ideal if you plan to attend a concert there as parking for a show is extremely difficult. We'd love to stay here again!

I strongly do recommend this hotel for people who admires amazing views and relaxing quiet time at the hotel, very friendly staff specially Farri who has a good English communication, the hotel is clean and tidy, pool is great I felt I had it all for ourselves as it wasn't that busy, close to everything about 10 minutes walk to Marina where you have plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Over all we are happy that we chose the right place and would definitely come back again next year. Amro

If you want a large noisy, full of activities hotel, close to the beach then avoid Antique Theatre. But, if you want a quiet little oasis of calm on the hill above Bodrum then head for this hotel. From arrival to departure our stay was perfect. A comfortable room with a decent sized terrace gave spectacular views over Bodrum. Breakfast was a simple Turkish buffet but absolutely delicious. The honey and the cherry jam were amazing. Location might not suit a lot of people as it is up quite a steep hill from the waterfront but we didn't mind the walk and taxis are cheap if you need them, only about 15 Turkish Lira. The three nearest restaurants (the one to the right of the hotel was not yet open for the season) were typically Turkish and mainly patronised by locals. They did not serve alcohol but the food was plentiful, tasty and pretty inexpensive. A small deli, a Carrefour and the large Oases mall are all nearby. The hotel was very quiet during our stay (mid April) as the holiday season was just getting underway. This gave the impression that we were almost staying in a private house rather than a hotel. The staff added to this impression and by the end of our stay they were more like friends than hotel staff. A very big thank you to Fahrettin and the two lovely ladies who helped with breakfast and housekeeping. My wife and I have been lucky to stay in a variety of different hotels throughout the world in recent years. The Antique Theatre has been among the most enjoyable hotel stays we have ever had. A special mention to Sultan the cat who also became a friend during our stay.

Friendly staff and helpful- central location for bus routes and 30-40 min walk to town centre . Supermarket nearby. Antique theatre opposite hotel - nightly concerts (not all year round) could be loud and very busy for parking. Hotel -Wasn't busy when we stayed but very small rooms opening out close together- bed very hard and toilet/shower room tiny - no mod cons. Lovely infinity pool - view of all bodrum . Breakfast adequate - but no variety.

Stayed here last summer and had an excellent time. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating. The big treat of staying here, with the hotel atop a hill, is the views. The breakfast is clean and filling. The rooms are clean and cool thanks to the air conditioning. The pool is a nice touch, especially during sunsets. You can walk down to the main street in the city in about 15 minutes. There are minibuses running to other parts of Bodrum as well. Overall a pleasant and quiet experience.

I really like the hotel. It felt like staying in the relative's house. It was very warm and cozy. Workers were very nice, they tried very hard to makes us feel home. I didn't want to stay in the big resort. It is a small, intimate hotel by the hills. And it is quiet most of the time with the exception of crickets sound at nights. Hotel rooms are very simple. Very simple !. They don't even have a phone in the room. We only had breakfast and some snacks. You can find transportation to visit around, right in the front of the hotel. Bodrum is very alive at nights and evenings. I would definitely visit the hotel again. Rates were reasonable compare to the surrounding's hotels in the Bodrum. Neighbor small towns worth to visit.
