Stayed at Turihan a few times now. Always been clean with friendly attentive staff. Times have changed. It looked like family members were forming a skeleton staff. All the usual people who knew their job were gone. The guy on reception who I think was the owner was allegedly working in the restaurant. This involved sitting watching the world go...

Have just returned from the Turihan after visiting for many years usually twice a year. I know Turkey has struggled this year as a tourist destination however standards have really slipped at this hotel. I'll get the negatives out the way first. Lack of staff - the whole hotel seems to be run on 4 staff. The person who was...

It wasn't overcrowded so we could stay round pool or go onto beach. The staff were lovely and rooms basic but clean. Would defo return and recommend to anyone staying in gumbet...

lovely little hotel. pool area small but spotless, rooms cleaned every day, towels changed every 2nd day. bar area next to beach. Staff excellent, free wifi, bar prices not bad , but better going to onsite shop which is cheaper for beer. Will be returning next year in October again. Loved it.

This was our fourth visit to the Turihan. This is a small three star Turkish hotel located on the beach on the the edge of Gumbet. Gumbet is very popular (noisy, vibrant holiday location for Northern Europeans), close to Bodrum, which is a chic resort popular a wide range of holiday makers including the rich and famous . Breakfast is...

Even though it was end of season, standards still should have been kept up for the cleaning of rooms, fresh towels and bedding. No need to let the standard down just because it's the end of season and hotel is closing, stayed here many time and will keep on returning, hopefully this is just a blip
