We were all inclusive. My partner was very happy with the food as she loves veg and salad and there was lots of that and she said it was very nice. I am a big meat eater and there wasn't much of that - some days only chicken nuggets or pink sausages, but I didn't starve. They did some lovely cakes for dessert, but once it's gone it's gone, and it often went before we got there. We had paid extra for a premier room and it was a nice big room on the top floor of 3 with good air con. The bar staff were friendly, but if you want a cocktail it was always a lucky dip depending who was one - there is no cocktail menu. Gumbet can be a noisy resort, but this hotel is a few hundred metres from the noisy bars and clubs and we slept well on a very good mattress. We often went out for a wander after dinner and often ended up at a bar 50m away called Cool Runnings which was great. Overall we enjoyed staying at this hotel, the staff were friendly, not may speak English. The pools were nice. The room was only cleaned once in 12 days and we had to ask for clean towels, but to be fair we only found the "please service our room" hanger on the last day as we had put out suitcase on it! Wifi was not very good which is why we often went to a bar to get good wifi. It's one of the cheaper all inclusive hotels, so if you want 5 star then pay 5 star prices. If you have a lower budget this hotel is OK.

We stayed 10 nights. Hotel itself is very nice, stylish, in the pool ares we felt good vibes. We got also a refurbished cozy room in the attached building which was equipped with comfy beds and a little bathroom. Comfort here is definitely there, food was amazing as well. Though the choice might be for some meat eaters very limited. But we like veggies and all was super tasty and fresh. The receptionist guy was extremely professional and helpful. Unfortunately I can’t say that about the restaurant staff. Some of the staff members didn’t even wear proper uniforms nor name tags. Majority of them were young workers seemingly not experienced enough in the field. That lack of experience and professionalism then reflected on the quality of service - tables and floors were dirty, especially during breakfast time things were missing (ladles, cutlery, milk, coffee, coffee machine not working etc). The pool areas were messy most of the time - old glass, shuttered glass, cat piss smell, dirty loungers etc). However as I observed, the blamed ones here were apparently the supervision members, who likely were after getting first their own breakfast, being on phone or giving confusing commands instead of focusing on real deal. Daily housekeeping also don’t expect, we got our room cleaned once each 3days approx. Despite these few flaws I would definitely come back to this hotel!

I love Turkey and visit Gumbet multiple times a year, I have stayed in a range of different hotels but this was by far the worst.
I was travelling with a friend and we got a twin room - it was the tiniest room I have ever seen and as soon as we walked in, the room stank of cigarettes. The air con didn’t work, just blew out cool ish air but not enough to keep you cool while getting ready etc. We thought we would give the hotel a chance as we were only there a couple of days so didn’t mention anything.
One evening we were about to get ready and there was no water, I went to reception and was told someone would come to our room. No one came so then my friend went to reception only to be told that it ‘wasn’t their problem’, my friend explained why it should be as we are paying guests and he told her to calm down and the water would come on in an hour.
Now I don’t know if this was due to the language barrier as most of the staff spoke minimal English but the lack of customer service was ridiculous.
The wifi didn’t work in our room and rarely worked in communal places either, again we asked reception a few times to help and they just entered the password and didn’t say anything only for the wifi to drop as soon as you moved.
The location is good and the Bamboo restaurant opposite is great so we often ate their as the all inc food was questionable - rice, salad and pasta.
I know this may not be everyone’s opinion as some people we met had a totally different experience but for a hotel rated as 4 star I am stretched to even give it 1.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 days. The behavior of the staff was very good. But the hotel had its drawbacks, which I will say now. First, the food ran out very quickly and it took a long time to recharge, and we saw this every day. There were many vegetables, but the meat was small and the variety was not great. Inside the rooms there are no slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, glasses or refrigerators. Due to the small size of the hotel, there is a lot of noise in all the rooms when there is loud music in the hotel bar. The hotel internet is not high capacity and sometimes you can not connect. In terms of location, the distance to the beach is about 200 meters, which is good and every 15 minutes Bodrum cars pass in front of the hotel. Finally if you are easy-going you can enjoy this hotel and the bad things don't bother you. But if you want want stay only in the hotel and you expect great hotel with great food and big pool and new rooms don't choose this hotel.

First of all the pictures they have on the website are a complete lie. Looks nothing like what is advertised, uncomfortable bed with a hard scratchy sheet for a blanket. Wardrobe has no hangers so tops/dresses left creased for the whole holiday, I’ve never stayed in such a run down place. Food is awful and they are happy to give you raw chicken (picture attached). When we showed them the uncooked chicken and they didn’t see a problem, their reply was ‘what’s wrong, does it not taste nice?’ Absolutely disgusting service, did nothing about it. We ate out every night. The maids come to clean the rooms at 5:30/6 and will just walk in whether you’re in there or not. We left the ‘make up my room’ sign on the door all day to come back to it the same as we left it, we took the sign off the door and they tried coming in about 6 while we was trying to nap. There’s hardly any English people and if there is they treat you like you’re not there. Would never recommend staying here so please avoid!!

Where to start, do not believe reviews of this hotel it only opened in June 2022 yet has hundreds of reviews, very odd.
On arrival we had no water at all all day then when it did come on one wall was completely soaked as water had been running down it!
The hotel is not on the beach as advertised you have to cross a busy road and then a short walk to get there.
There is no internet in the hotel is doesn’t work even in reception.
Food is awful, lots of salads but no meat or fish, they do have chicken legs once a week. Cereals for breakfast but when the 2 cartons of milk run out that’s it, same with the butter there is a bit but it soon runs out. Drinks, on our first day there was no gin, went to reception and she said we will be shopping today or tomorrow. If you ask for gin and lemonade (no tonic at all) be careful that they don’t give you vodka, they did this and when I pointed it out they just put the gin onto the vodka!
Cleaning the rooms, well where to start, oh yes it doesn’t happen! You have to complain at reception and ask to be put on the list! We were cleaned 3 times in 2 weeks but I use that term loosely as they don’t use a brush or mop at all.
Dont even try to complain at reception as most staff don’t speak English but when you do find somebody they shout at you as if you are in the wrong.
Last day today and they ran out of milk before 9am (breakfast finishes at 10am) when I asked for milk they said it’s finished! It is like that with most of the foods and drink, they can all say it’s finished in English!

this hotel is the worst hotel i have stayed in. The service is absolutely awful, rude staff, the all inclusive consisted of 3 drinks gin, vodka and weak beer in very small cups. They kept running out of water, juices . On the first morning we went into the restaurant and the choice of food was sprouts, rice, cheese and salad. No milk, tea or coffee we walked out In the evening the choice was dry chicken skewers, baked beans more salad . The only dessert choice was watermelon. Needless to say we walked out again . So despite us paying for all inclusive we had to eat out every day .
The room was very basic with 4 hard single beds with a scratchy bed sheet, even though we were a couple. The bathroom was very small with a tiny sink and smelt awful.. There wasn't a balcony at all even though on website it stated that there was , only a small window with bars overlooking a building site. Room was also not very clean . This hotel is supposed to be a 4 star and in my honest opinion it shouldn't be a 1 star it is truly horrendous . Please avoid at all costs. I have never written a review before but felt I must warn people against booking this hotel .

The reviews we read before booking don’t quite tell the full truth, however, this is a Small hotel with so much potential, very pretty well kept outside areas with lots of flowers and foliage, although a bit grubby,
Our first room was tiny and had a dreadful drain smell. On telling the rep we were moved to the room next door which was bigger, still very basic but ok.

The hotel WiFi is at best poor, so if that’s important to you be prepared to buy a bolt on for your phone.

The room is not serviced but reception will give you clean towels, toilet rolls etc.

The food is basic and if you’re expecting the usual all inclusive array of choices you will be disappointed! And as it’s a small hotel it’s not replenished enough and very often when it’s gone it’s gone! We were advised to aim for the beginning of service and that seemed to work well. We generally found something and it was ok but that is it.

Staff were very accommodating, not many speak English but they try…. And yes I appreciate it is Turkey. They work hard and really long hours but it seems there is no leadership.

There is no entertainment in the hotel and from what we saw of the entertainment team they took guests out of the hotel to the beach, or the nightclubs etc which obviously incur an additional charge.
