I could not fault anything at all at this pleasant Hotel. Covid restrictions were in place when we visited and they done their best to make you feel safe and all regulations adhered to. All staff wearing masks and hand sanitiser readily available. Very clean, room cleaned everyday, food was good and enjoyable served by staff due to Covid instead of help yourself buffet style,,, ( I’m sure they saved loads this way instead of your usual greedy Russians etc. Piling plates of food which they don’t eat) 😂. Barbecue nights, Kebabs, Fish, something for everyone! Breakfast excellent, afternoon snacks, cakes and Tea. Basically they feed you four times a day for what you pay! Who can find fault with that? Drinks at bar were good enough for us, local drinks were included in AI but you could pay for cocktails which weren’t very expensive. There was entertainment, Karaoke and Bingo , we went out most nights, as that’s the charm of going to Gümbet, loads of bars, shops and restaurants on the doorstep,, location is great. Lovely pool and plenty of sun beds, just get up early to get one when Hotel busy! 😂.
All staff friendly and helpful, if you don’t find that, then there’s a problem with yourself!

We met so many friendly other guests who we will remain friends with! A truly amazing Holiday at Club Shark and we will definitely return

I spent 4 nights at this hotel during a recent tour around Turkey and it was a really good experience. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the rooms were modern, clean and comfortable and the pool, bar and surrounding areas were very well kept. My room was on the 3rd floor in the block nearest to reception, it was a nice quiet room although there was a little traffic noise but never late at night. Aircon was included and the room had a fridge and for €2 euros per night you can use the in room safe. The bathroom was very modern with a pretty powerful rain shower so the comfort levels were really good.
The food was OK, the breakfast was served for you due to Covid-19 rules but it was pretty standard Turkish breakfast with cooked egg dishes available each day. I didn't eat lunch there as I was out every day but I had an evening meal there once which wasn't great but it was edible. The hotel was that cheap that I chose to eat out and meet with friends anyway so the evening meals weren't really an issue for me.The Ozukara restaurant next to the taxis at the end of the street served really good food for a very good price. I ate there and had lentil soup, chicken shish and a large beer all for around €10 euros.

In our opinion, Hotel Club Shark is one of the better choices in the category of four-star hotels due to its very good location with a picturesque view of the bay. When it comes to rooms and room service, they are of a high standard and we have often found a beautifully made bed with scattered flowers on it. We managed to find a room with a balcony that overlooked the pool and was surrounded by palm trees and pink flowers. The swimming pool was distinguished by crystal clear water, the sauna was well-kept and spacious, the Turkish bath made it possible to get acquainted with traditional methods of body care. The hotel provided a GAME ROOM with a pool table and table tennis with equipment. The most important aspect of the entire hotel is the well-trained and friendly staff of both the bar and the restaurant. The receptionists were always helpful, friendly and chatty. The best atmosphere was created by the hotel staff, who were always friendly, you could talk to them, joke with them, they created a family atmosphere thanks to their approach and attitude towards hotel guests. Many Poles come to the hotel, which gives the opportunity to create new acquaintances, a good atmosphere, meet interesting people with whom it will never be boring. We wholeheartedly recommend staying at the Club Shark Hotel, it is a HOTEL worthy of recommendation and we will definitely visit it more than once.

I booked this hotel as the price was too good to be true for an all inclusive. In my opinion the best thing about this hotel was the shower!

When we first arrived it was like walking into the Jeremy Kyle show, there was so many arguments and drama with British tourist it was embarrassing!!!

The drinks were watered down and they did not like you asking for just a rum / vodka. If you wanted imported spirits these are an extra charge, unless you are young women then management will sort you these for free. The food was cheaply made and you’d get a better meal in prison. The only fruit you could get was watermelon. We ate out nearly every night and there are few amazing restaurants in the area such as Mistral Bay and Annalivia.

The staff were miserable except for the man who worked on the Turkish Spa desk, he would speak every time we went passed and was pleasant.

We could never get a sun lounger, I understand that the beds were restricted due to Covid but people were coming back from a night on the lash and taking their towels down about 4am. There are signs saying your towels will be removed before 8.30am, again if you’re young females then they would let you keep your towels there.

This is not a 3 star plus as Jet 2 advertises and definitely not a 4 star that it states on their sign. We will not be returning to this hotel, nor Gumbet as it’s dirty and it’s aimed at 18-30 who want a clubbing holiday.

Excellent holiday. First time in this hotel (yet ive been to turkey on lots occasions) and the staff couldn't do enough. Devrium (not sure on spelling) was amazing from the moment we arrived late on the Sunday night taking our cases to the room and explaining everything to ensuring everybody was OK each day to helping with our cases on the last day. Always having a smile. Making people smile and nothing too much trouble. An absolute credit to the hotel. As are majority of the staff who work such long hours for so little wages.

Rooms were cleaned daily. Fresh towels. Only thing I'd recommend hotel look at is refreshing the water in the fridges in the rooms and also secure the safes down in the rooms. The power showers were perfect.

I'm a fussy eater yet always managed to find something to eat and having the bbq extra on the evenings was such a nice touch. Drinks were plentiful and extras if you chose to pay a minimal charge.

Sunlongers could do with moving apart a little but I understand about space. Whilst we were there there was an issue with a prima Donna who thought because she'd been a few times prior she owned the hotel, and caused massive issues with moving towels etc yet she had no manners towards the staff and barely used the Sunlongers! Apart from her it was a trouble free hotel.

The hotel location is high up so you need to be able walk up hills or its cheap enough to jump in taxis for a couple of £. It's within a moments walk to plenty of lovely restaurants and bar's. 10mins to the beach (down hill).

So all in all I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.
I'd go back to club Shark any day.

First time In Gumbet. Check inn went smoothly a few COVID-19 forms to fill in. We arrived at 2300 we got given a roll to eat as the restaurant was closed. Our room was on the 1st floor big enough and clean could do with more storage space. Free WiFi. We had a pool view which was great. Now the food breakfast very poor we basically had warm bread ( toast) in the morning. Lunch and dinner same each time chicken and turkey and meatballs cooked a different way sometime but still the same. Yes there was a salad section but you are so rushed as the staff are serving you u can’t look properly. Drinks ok loved the fact that u just helped yourself to water from the fridge. Pool was nice not enough beds . Entertainment karaoke or bingo and not every night staff very nice had the best Turkish bath now location we I think where at the start of the resort very hilly shops good loads of places to eat out and very reasonably priced would I go back not to tjhis hotel

Hotel is very clean and modern, staff are very friendly and always happy to help! Rooms were very clean and we had fresh towels and beds changed everyday and some days they added bows or swans to the bed.

Turkish Bath & Spa is beautiful, treatments are very good and reasonably priced! Pool area is clean and there are lots of activities throughout the day, although sun beds are very close together (didn’t really bother us but just bare that in mind). Night time entertainment was good as well with games, bingo, karaoke ect.

Food was decent, they tend to repeat the same foods every few days but that didn’t really bother us as the food was very tasty, not a great selection if you have children or are a fussy eater, lunch & dinner was mainly rice, chips some sort of chicken/ meat and lots of fresh salad and Turkish sauces. Breakfast was pancakes, omelettes and then your typical breakfast like sausages, beans, egg, mushrooms ect. They didn’t offer much variety of food but we found what they did offer was great! (Depends on what you like personally) as for dessert they offer quite a few different Turkish dishes which was lovely to try, not a great selection of fruit if that’s what you prefer. Small variety of Free All inclusive drinks soft & alcohol but you did have to buy cocktails and imported drinks, Cocktails were around £3 so reasonable prices.

Overall a very good hotel & would definitely go back again!

Visited the Shark club with friends and family at the end of August for a 2 week stay. From arrival to departure the service was excellent. Reception staff were really helpful and Devrim who helped with our luggage turned out to be the star employee. He checked on us every day .. made sure there were no issues and brought cold water always with a smile. The hotel itself can do with a wee update and is definitely not 4* especially round the pool area and maybe a bit more space between sun loungers. We did have a bit of a Spanish pool sunbed/towel placing issue which I’ve not experienced in turkey before but it seemed to be one family who liked to book out the sunny side of the pool & sit in the shade all day 🤷‍♀️. The food at the hotel is a bit repetitive but always good quality and could always get something. In the end you get what you pay for.and you need to remember it’s catering for multiple nationalities. The drinks were again what you pay for and with a wee bit extra you could get a good cocktail or fishbowl. Fresh juice/tea/coffee was available all day. The hotel shop was well stocked and reasonably priced and literally sold everything. The cleaning staff did an excellent job and always had fresh towels .. a nice touch would be to restock the water in the mini bar although it was readily available to take to the room from the fridges at the bar. All in all a good 2 week stay.

It was our first time in Turkey and in Club Shark Hotel and we had a great time. Upon arrival, we asked them if we can get a crib for our daughter and they put one in our room immediately. The hotel is very clean. They clean rooms and change towels every day. WiFi in the rooms works great. The hotel staff is very friendly and polite. When in restaurant, Mehmet (restaurant manager) treated our 2 year old daughter like a princess. There is a fine selection of food which is always freshly cooked. The pool is also very clean. Although hotel is close to the bars and night clubs, it is not very noisy in the room during the night. You can reach the beach in 5-6 minutes on foot, if you find the shorcuts, like we did. Don’t go to their so called private beach in Bitez. Sunbeds and beach umbrellas are free there, but it’s not worthy, because that beach is bad. Also, the shuttle van, which is not in a very good condition, will take you there at 11:00 and drive you back at 17:00,so you are skipping the lunch at the hotel. Apart from that, everything in Club Shark Hotel is amazing.

Stayed at The Shark for two weeks in September. When we arrived we were facing the road, went to reception and asked to moved which they accommodated and moved the following day. Couldn’t fault the man and women on reception they would help when they could and were always approachable.
It’s a very clean hotel, they would clean the rooms every day, the pool would be cleaned every night. Constantly wiping areas of the hotel.
Food.... wasn’t the best and would have to ask if you wanted more than 2 pieces and they would look at you like you’re asking for the world???? During this time you understand that things are hard and you have to follow rules, but they had no entertainment. Bingo and karaoke for the whole two weeks we were there, luckily you’re very close to bar street, we spent a lot of time out of the hotel at night.
You would have to get up at 6.30 for a sunbed which you’d get the sun all day, although you got people putting their towels on during the night... very sad if you ask me!
The majority of the bar staff were very unapproachable, I understand they work long hours for pretty much nothing but at the end of the day, we pay money to go on holiday and a smile goes along way! 10 o’clock comes and you can get two drinks per person, they would constantly look at 11 o’clock, making you feel uncomfortable, as to leave. Although Mehmet and the tall boy (sorry don’t know his name), were very helpful and polite. Mehmet offers boat trips and other day trips, so ask him and he will be more than happy to help you!
The security guard - cello, on a night was very helpful, and would always make an effort with you!
