Great hotel & staff

What a fantastic hotel. What really makes it are the staff who are so accommodating & cannot do enough for you. We had one very small issue with our room which was rectified immediately. The food is delicious on the AI, fresh salads, soups & fresh bread, a choice of 3/4 mains and super desserts. Right on the beach and a good pool area. A lovely bar area overlooking the beach and palm trees. Rooms a little bit tired but very clean. A superb 3* value for money accommodation.

Excellent Hotel

I'm writing this whilst I'm a still here. What value for money. All staff very friendly and so helpful, nothing too much trouble. I have a bad back and they sorted our beds out the same day without any issue. Our annexe room is big with a nice balcony overlooking the sea. Beach setting fantastic plenty of loungers. Food is very nice with a good selection. All in all really enjoying our holiday and would definitely recommend

Never have a experienced such bad service in Turkey

1st, Bodrum is dirty. If you want a clean beach, travel to Kleopatra Beach Alanya, Kusadasi, or Cesme. So, the only good points of this hotel: housekeeping excellent. Very clean rooms and pool. Now, here is why i rate this terrible. The area is grotty, full of aggressive salesmen who are basically thieves. The hotel front desk did not take payment on arrival, like most professional establishments. All inclusive food below par so ate out. The desserts particularly soggy and not up to Turkish standards. A real shame. One of the boys at Mango Cafe (attached to hotel) was following me around asking to go to my room even though i made it clear i wanted to be left alone. Front desk, upon checkout, was a nightmare. They didn't care about helping the client. Ignoring me and another elderly gentleman while they talked on their mobiles. Finally i asked to pay on my visa. Wifi down so they wanted me to go to atm for cash. Very unacceptable. They nearly made me late for my plane. I had to shout at them, but they did not care. Just acted as if the customers did not matter. They did not help the elderly gentleman (he also said they were terrible) and left a very bad taste. I would not trust these people at all. Avoid this hotel and area (Gumbet) at all cost. Garbage holiday. As a professional traveller, i have visited over 50 hotels this year and the is the ONLY bad review i have written. It takes a lot to push me to write poor ratings, but they deserve it. The housekeepers, i give all credit for their work though.…

Unfortunate theft

Stayed in Gumbet for one week from the 17th of September 2020, unfortunately our hotel couldn't offer us a room extention on our last night. (we had a very late flight home) so we booked in to the sami beach, when we were taken tou our rooms I found my wallet was missing, I rushed back down to reception to find that it had been handed In minus the money, The man who had handed it in was still hanging around, The Management were fantastic and imediantly checked the Cctv, you could clearly see me drop the wallet, few seconds later a man passes by but doesn't notice it, the next man sees it picks it up and walks outside with it, a second camera picks him up outside and he approaches the first man so ask him if it's his, he gestures it isn't, he then goes back towards inside, but there's a delay between him going out of veiw on the outside camera and re appearing on the inside reception camera, he then hands an empty wallet in!!!!!! You can't actually see him remove the money, so police not called, when I saw him later that day and asked him had he been shown the Cctv footage his reaction was way to aggressive for someone who was innocent, he's about 5"10 to 6"0 neatly cut black hair, and a full black beard, had a basket ball type top on, Watch your possessions if a man fitting this discription is still around the end of December 2020,apart from this unfortunate incident, I can't fault the hotel and staff, and would definitely recommend the hotel as a clean plesent place to stay.…

Was great holiday for us

We have been there for a 5 night, price and service super balanced. Thanks to Bar team (Bunyamin,Mahzun,Eren,Ozan,Murat Chief) and also thanks to Restaurant team for greeting and good service every day. Food was delicious especially salads and deserts. I am definitely recommend this hotel. Located heart of Gumbet, so close to shops and bar street. Sea is amazing for kids because getting deep longer. Staff was kind and polite. Room service is really good. All-inclusive on this price well balanced. Because of covid-19 clubs, bars, entertainment was ending midnight but if you have speaker with you, can continue by yourself on top of bar there is a balcony and hammock to sit and enjoy rest of the night. Also there is Yoga Academy and highly recommended to join teachers (Neşe,Sevgi and Erdem). Thank you all staff of Sami Beach Hotel. Will definitely panning to go again following years. Please berry mind to be polite to staff and please take food to your plate as less as you can eat to do not waste. Appreciate the service and staff members. Was a great holiday from our side. Have a lovely holiday all. …
