What a hidden gem! Just returned from a week here, was absolutely amazing! The choice of food was yummy, something for everyone; and plenty of choice. Location is lovely literally on the beach with private sun loungers and a beach bar; big shout out to entertainment; restaurant staff & Hasan on the bar always smiling and friendly, very polite. Pools amazing, nice vibe with music on in the day, evening entertainment although short was nice, and drinks in all inclusive are a good selection too!

Turkish people lovely yes it’s not a typical British hotel however you can get a taxi into Gumbet and party for 88 lira if not less and lovely little strip of restaurants on your doorstep too.

We were two 29 year old girls and wouldn’t fault this hotel; or think again about coming or recommending to others! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Only downfall was the placing of our room; in comparison to others with sun balconies etc we didn’t have a great view but hardly in room anyways!

On first arrival we were a little shocked how basic the rooms were. First room given was tiny and dirty so asked to be moved. Next room was a little better but still needed a good clean. Beds were comfy so that made it a little better. Hotel and amenities generally run down. Food awful. Same everyday fried chips wedges fried chicken or turkey goulash. Soup n bread. Best was salad bar and fresh fruit. Waiters were lovely but trying to get basics like butter salt milk for tea was a complete nightmare. Ate out often as very cheap and lots of nice places close by. All inclusive basic alcohol was vodka gin whisky wine or lager. Ice cream available for 1 hour a day. Snack bar again fried chips burger or chicken nuggets. Sunbeds not cleaned toilets not cleaned enough. Would not stay at this hotel again but would return to ortakent as its just beautiful. Plenty of other hotels close by. Made some fantastic friends of the staff which made up for everything else and had lots of laughs.

Good Afternoon Everyone !
I would like to reccomend this place! We have stay there for one week and Im 100% sure that I will stay more If I will had more time 😊
This place is really good for families with children and also for people which are going to rest around the swimming pool or near the sea.
Food is really good, everyone car choose what to eat because there is a lot another meals.
What I can tell about the staff :
People are really greate, everywhere is clean, they are very kind and they are looking that they like there job. I was felling really safe in every place in this hotel ☺️

We stayed here 2 years ago and I wrote a review saying it’s pretty great value for money. This time even my in-laws moaned and they never moan.
Staff were all very friendly, reception, bars and there was always someone walking about if you had a problem they would write it down and deal with it, which is good as I bet they have to deal with a lot of moaners!!
Rooms were fine but not cleaned that often and to be honest, there isn’t enough cleaners so it’s a rushed job. Bathrooms need attention plus air con was making loud noises but they did sort this out next day.
Plenty of beds around the pool so no real rush to get them in the morning.
Food - well I can normally eat anything but struggled everyday and lived off bread and eggs. Rice chips and ice cream!!! Kids basically ate bread and chips. If you like chicken, chicken stew, chicken and rice, chicken in a sauce. Then You will eat something!!!
Overall - I wouldn’t come back even though the beach is nice and the sea is fantastic the hotel lets its down.

Arrived late in the evening here after a long day of travelling, and it immediately became apparent that this is not worthy of a 4* rating.

Upon arrival and being shown in to the room. First sign was a rather dodgy hanging and flickering light bulb, and it got worse in from there.
There were hairs on the bed which very clearly did not belong to us, the pillow covers had stains on them, and the bedside tables were barely hanging onto the wall.
The air conditioning was not very effective at cooling the room, and when looking in the bathroom, the sink had marks on it as if it hadn't been cleaned ever.
Looking inside the shower, the grouting around most of the tiles was horrendous, as if it couldn't effectively be cleaned from the grime, so more grout was just slapped over the top. It was just nasty.
Then I looked up and there were some horrible stains on the ceiling where there was damp with it flaking.

Called reception to change rooms and was told there was not another room available, and send "housekeeping" who snatched the sheets and pillow covers and didn't come back.

We made our best decision after that and checked out and went elsewhere.

The Hotel is very nice. Theres a lot of awesome food the whole day. Specially the sweet cakes are so nice.
The people are calm and the rooms are clean. We enjoyed the time at this hotel a lot, we have the beach under our feet and you can sit at the pool the whole night. Its very calming and nice. There is a Hammam and music at the pool. The workers do their best to make the customers happy and they have success by doing it. Specially a Animateur called Chester knows how to find the best spots in bodrum, for party, to eat and to sit. Whatever you want to do he knows the best spots. Big thanks to the whole team, we love to come again!!

Greetings 🍀🍀

We enjoyed the time we spent in Petunya Beach Resort a lot. The food was delicious and one can taste different types of Turkish cuisine. The sea was not too hot and is located very close to the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable. Especially I want to thank the operation manager Mrs. Fikret Batirhan, who responded to wishes quickly and in an appropriate way.

The best thing about this hotel is the cleanliness headed by Serpil in charge of housekeeping. She ensures everything from bedrooms to communal areas are spotless. Her staff are always brushing floors and clearing away. A big thanks to her and her team.
Orhan heading reception is so helpful and kind and will help whenever possible. Speaks fantastic English also.
Baris the tattoo guy has been here many years and is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. His tattoos are fantastic and have seen many of his works plus used we have used ourselves. A great guy in all ways.
Have been here many times and highly recommend.

After a change of rooms we could settle down to enjoy a well deserved holiday. Most of the staff work hard and try to interact which can put a smile on your face. Then again when you try to speek Turkish you can understand why they have a smile on their face.
Now, the hotel has changed over the years for the better and for the worse, you can decide when you come. Give this hotel a try. May and September are the best times to be here, temp 25c to 35c. Food is good most of the time. Drinks not bad, but i am not a fan of fresh water in sealed scrunch cups.
Barish is good for Henna tattoos on site and Tattoos in a studio. If you need information on anything ask him. The day Manager Ohan will try to help you in any way possible.
Yet again we made some good friends here and will miss them.
Give this hotel a try you might find you will come back again.

The best years of this hotel passed.. rooms are stinky and below 4 stars standars, much below. Air conditioning is noisy, but when you open the window other guests (Turkish and Russian) won't allow to have a good night sleep as well. The beach is sandy, but rather small - umbrellas are so close to each other that it is difficult to walk among them. If you will eat something warm in restaurant you are very, very lucky guest. Only three kind of fruits, sweets everyday the same, juices undrinkable. Alcohol types (e.g. white wine, beer)runs out during the day. Only thing that was really OK was the attitude of the staff and the garden. Generally I do not recommend to choose this hotel.
