I loved everything about my 3-day stay. My bedroom suite had a full kitchen, living room, dining room, and private backyard pool. The panoramic views (from the rooftop restaurant) of the surrounding sea and coastline were simply mesmerizing. The rooftop pool was freezing so I mostly swam in the sea which was much warmer. The staff at Susona Bodrum deserve a special mention for their warm hospitality and genuine friendliness. From the moment I arrived, their attentiveness and eagerness to assist made me feel right at home. It was my birthday, and they went out of their way to ensure that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and that I was celebrated while away from home. It's the kind of service that makes a hotel truly stand out.

Having previously visited this complex three times when it was a Nikki Beach resort we are well aware of the resort capabilities and therefore, despite the change to a Hilton LXR resort, we were happy to rebook. Upon check-in, we asked about having to book beds at Frankies Beach club but were advised it was closed and would remain closed for the entire length of our stay, due to it being end of season. We were immediately disappointed that we hadn’t been advised of this before arriving at the resort. The beach club is something that we very much enjoy, and had we known it wouldn’t be available we either would have booked earlier in the season or would have chosen a resort with more pool/beach facilities. Breakfast was rather frantic, with what appeared to be only two waiting staff and a fair amount of guests, many of whom seemed to be less than impressed with food and drink not arriving and the overall delays and lack of service. One of the waiters apologised to us and explained that most of the staff had been let go as it was the end of the season. Once again, we felt let down, this wasn’t the service we had paid for or expected. The other surprising situation at breakfast was that whilst the two staff were clearly stressed and under pressure and the diners were visibly unhappy, a group of 4 managers sat in the restaurant every morning amongst the situation and made no effort to help their struggling staff out or apologise to guests. With the Frankie Beach club shut we decided to spend our days on the family beach. On day 1 the bar area wasn’t open. I had to phone reception and order drinks! When our drink arrived we were produced with a bill along with room service charges! I asked about the bar and I was told that that too was now shut as it was end of season. How were we supposed to get a drink? This holiday was fast becoming, rather frustrating. We were supplied with a menu which had a QR code do order drinks. Great, if the QR code had worked, but once opened you only get an option to purchase very limited food, soft drinks and wine. No beers, no spirits and little else. I queried this and was told that the QR code wasn’t working properly!! I then received a message on whatapp saying to place our drinks orders directly, good news I thought. So, the next day we were on the family beach I sent the message on whatsapp for drinks and after half an hour it hadn’t even been read. So, I had to yet again phone reception to place a drinks order. When it arrived we were again supplied with a menu with a QR code which I pointed out didn’t work. A lady came to see us on the family beach as we had expressed our feeling to reception when we called up. She listened to our reasons, agreed and said she would feed back to the General Manager. From that point we didn’t hear anymore regarding the situation. Upon check out we were asked how our stay was and we once again explained our disappointment across the resort. The receptionist understood and then asked us to give good feedback on our review, pointing out that anything lower than an 8 was ‘really bad for us’, which was a little cheeky. To be honest we were expecting more from an LXR resort than the previous Nikki Beach , but were left very unimpressed. Despite the above the rooms designs and cleanliness of the rooms is still outstanding and Engin Karaberberogluis an asset to your team.

We came for a wedding and ended up staying on for an extra week. All the staff were amazing, especially the breakfast staff. Rana, Ahmet, Orhan and Aydin were brillant they really looked after us every morning. The hotel itself is stunning, and very private. The spa was really good too. I would recommend to everyone and we will be back

This was the best vacation resort my wife and I have ever been to. From the minute you step onto the property, you are blown away by the beautiful atmosphere of the resort to the energetic, kind and welcoming energy the staff have. Every staff member we interacted with - be it front desk, room service, housekeeping, restaurants or bellman/concierge, we were amazed by how helpful, accommodating and kind they were. I came here with my wife and 22 month son and everyone was so patient with us and very friendly with my son. Berkan from the front desk, the concierge Inger (gentlemen with the clefs d’or keys) and Aydin and Ahmet from the restaurant are exemplary in the way service in hospitality should be conducted and should be role models for all hotels. Thank you all for your kindness.

Be wary that things may not go as planned, and double-check the room type you reserved… I felt like I was in a poorly written comedy… The bad: We are Hilton Gold members and were shocked to be treated the way we were as if we booked via a sketchy booking site. We booked a panoramic sea view room and woke up to having a tiny sliver of a view. Exhausted from a long day of traveling and checking in late at night, we didn’t immediately notice that this was not the room we had booked; it was a lower room type than what we reserved. The price for the panoramic sea view was higher than the room we received. The view we got: trees and the lawn. What made us irked: the general manager completely disregarded the situation, considering we were now placed into the room overpaying €500+. The front desk staff was kind enough to offer compensation, but the general manager backtracked most of the comps. We were promised a complimentary dinner (which we had- thank you). Yet, there was backtracking on the promised “free alcohol” during dinner & a complimentary bottle of wine that we never received in our room. The manager ignored the multiple attempts to resolve this issue, never getting back to us. While exploring the property, Tarik blatantly ignored us. Is this a way to treat your guests? An apology would have been acceptable as the bare minimum- yet we did not even receive any words or actions from Tarik to make things right. Upon checking out, the reception staff noted our remarks. Still, we were disappointed that we were being asked to elevate our review when asked about the overall stay. Having an early flight, we did not have the time to thoroughly reiterate our comments and concerns. Seems convenient that the GM/whoever was on duty (not the receptionist) only wanted to “resolve things” upon closing the bill… (meaning us retelling the whole situation to most likely being ignored and disregarded). Apart from the points mentioned above, some minor details caught my attention. There was no wine/bottle opener in the room and only one wine glass. The next night, the wine glasses disappeared and weren’t restocked. Secondly, on the final night, within 2 hours, there were 6 flying ants consistently reappearing on the bed. If you’ll lounge on the jetties, know your order may not arrive. We ordered drinks (water and iced tea) on a scorching day. Only an hour later, the staff came over to ask if we still wanted the drinks. While the system is great for placing orders, there is virtually no identification for how the staff should find their customers. A tiny inscription on the QR plaque that many would have ignored entirely indicates the sunbed number. I assume these QR plaques are also placed in a random order. Quite disorganized. With the fiasco with the room and the way the GM treated us, it was a slight annoyance to find out that the Frankie Beach Club was closed for a private event. I wish we were told in advance as it was one of the amenities we were looking forward to enjoying. The good: It is heartbreaking to give such a review knowing how hard the rest of the team works, specifically Efe, Merve Bilir, and others. The property itself is spacious and well-integrated with the greenery. There are quite a few jetties for guests to enjoy the sun and the water. The spa was delightful! Get the hammam treatment. Very relaxing and feels like you’re born again. The ladies who attended us were very kind and knew what they were doing. The treatment was probably one of the only experiences that went smoothly from start to finish. (And it’s under a different management company than the hotel- which I attribute to the success of the experience.) The food has been fantastic, living up to the expectations. The flavor quality and execution were a highlight of this trip, ranging from the luxurious local breakfast spreads to fine dining.

I stayed at this hotel in October 2023 as an early birthday celebration with my girlfriend. Due to work currently, we can only see each other every three months. We working hoping for a positive, chill experience. I am also a Hilton Gold member that has stayed all across the Hilton family of hotels; but I have never been so poorly treated by the front office than at this property. I was cheated and taken advantage of by paying over 500 euros more for their sea view room category and then given a lower category that is almost 50% of the cost per night and has no view (photos below). I would like to clarify that my grievances are with the front office. Most of the property staff are friendly, highly competent, and hardworking. Two staff members who were particularly excellent were the gentleman Efe and restaurant supervisor Merve Bilir. They provided excellent service, were genuinely warm people that care about their customers, and are hard workers. They should be the managing the entire hotel Also the food at the resort is very good and on par with any of my stays at the Waldorf Astoria properties. We also enjoyed the spa, which is run by a separate company and provided a great hammam experience Negatives: -We were given the wrong room category. The room I booked was a “King premium sea view” with “panoramic” sea views. Their reservations page is very clear about the room in both photos and its description. Instead we got room 6 with a view of some trees, which was clearly a lower room category (photos below). I typically wouldn’t care if the price difference is minimal, but lower room categories at this hotel are nearly 50% less per night (240 to 270 euros per night while I paid over 500 euros per night). Over the course of the weekend, I ended up paying between 500 to 600 euros more than was necessary for a lower room When I went to the front desk to point this out and ask for a room change, the receptionists agreed with me that this was not the right room and they offered me a free dinner with alcohol included, but they were fully booked and couldn’t move us I agreed and left but didn’t feel that was fair compensation since a 130 euro dinner doesn’t make up for paying 500+ euros for the wrong room. When I came back a few hours later, I asked for a manager and the assistant manager Tarik came out to speak with me. He was completely dismissive and couldn’t care less for what I had to say. He didn’t apologize and seemed annoyed that I was speaking to him and tried to end the conversation as fast as possible. He then informed me that alcohol would not be included in the dinner after it was promised and while he was hurriedly walking away he said he would ask the head manager what else they could do. The receptionist felt bad and offered to send a bottle of wine. During the rest of our stay we never received a bottle of wine and Tarik never got back to us -Their beach club, Frankie, was closed for two full days for a wedding while we were there so we were never able to use it. Once again the reception staffed messed up and told us it was available to use while we were checking in. This is completely unfair to other guests especially when the hotel is fully booked. I understand renting out the space for a night or half a day, but if a wedding wants to rent out the primary space for a 48 hour period then they should have to rent out the entire hotel -One of the days we were relaxing on a jetty and ordered some drinks through their QR app. 45 minutes went by and they never arrived and then finally a waitress came down clarifying if we tried to order something. By that point we had to cancel our order as we were leaving To me this hotel is a perfect example of a business with a great product and excellent, hardworking employees but the front office and management cannot do their job. As a Gold member I was not treated to Hilton standards and my very reasonable concerns were dismissed by management therefore I plan to escalate this situation with Hilton customer service

The hotel is designed to provide privacy and comfort. Surrounded by greenery, it gives you the opportunity to connect with nature. The staff is extremely friendly and yet unobtrusive. I would single out Mrs. Tuba the dragon woman. He arrives at all positions and always with a big smile.

Excellent hotel in bodrum. Beautiful resort with great view of water. Great breakfast and the staff went out of their way to make this trip memorable. Turkish breakfast was fantastic with Ahmet, aydin and dilek. This one are very modern and huge. We stayed at a junior suite facing the sea.
