Good points: It’s a small nice hotel on Torba beach. Nice private area on the beach and the pier. The hotel and the staff is very dog-friendly, and I loved it and why I chose to stay here! If you do not tolerate pets, dont stay here.

The room was nice too. Clean! I stayed in the seaview executive room, which was the most expensive one.

Downsides: This isnt a 5 star hotel, the rooms are 4 star with 2 star service, overall I’d give 3 starts at most. There are 3 main problems.

1. Poor housekeeping: There’s one guy who is doing housekeeping, he’s clearly not a happy guy, mostly rude and make you feel that he just doesnt wanna work there! He doesnt like answering questions and he has no idea how he should treat customers in a 5 star hotels.

2. Problem: The service and quality of food. Its just simply bad. The staff is untrained completely. They have no clue how they should talk to, behave and serve! It was like ‘esnaf lokantasi’. If you see a waiter talking on his mobile phone while he’s serving you dont be surprised. They’re not intentionally doing it. They’re good people! They are just ARE NoT trained by the hotel!

3. Problem: The quality of food is very bad. Thats the worst bit. They clearly dont have chef in the kitchen! If you have to eat here go for pide and pizza. Dont venture on other stuff on the menu. It’d be a waste! Also forget coctails, just go for beer. Go for simple things that they cant go wrong. We ate once and that was enough waste, then we ate outside for the rest of the stay.

Overall, would I stay here again: Only if I find a good deal. I stayed in the peak season and it was Eid bayram. I paid way too much (around 2400tl a day) for the service I received.

If I am paying less than half of what I paid then it’s ok. I would eat out but I would still stay here again because they have a nice beach, good location and they are dog-friendly.

We are staying at the Grand Yazici in Bodrum which is lovely and will review that separately. We took the complimentary bus to the beach club in Torba where we were greeted like old friends. There was a member of staff who spoke excellent English(he used to work on a crew ship) who was extremely pleasant and helpful. Lunch was simple, fresh and delicious. Will hopefully go back again before we leave.

Terrible experience. Stay away from this hotel.
Upon arrival:
- Nobody in reception, had to wait 15 minutes
- They didn't find the reservation
- No parking
- Room was small, dirty. The small window was blocked, curtains couldn't be open, small balcony dirty
- Cockroaches pesticide in room
- Wi-fi didn't work (they said because the wi-fi antenna was in the sun ?!?)
- Common areas: dirty
- Staff: unhelpful and didn't speak English!

I immediately asked to change room, it wasn't possible. The manager of Grand Yazici Torba Beach didn't speak English, had to call the PR Manager of Grand Yazici Bodrum (very kind and efficient) who offered a room in the other property Grand Yazici Bodrum for an extra cost (not irrelevant).
I left immediately the hotel, payed the extra cost and moved to Grand Yazici Bodrum (see other review).

The PR Manager of Grand Yazici Bodrum was professional and very kind, she solved the problem even though I had an extra cost.

We ending in staying at the Grand Yazici Beach Hotel after a disasterous first night stay in a hotel we never even booked "Club Mavi Appartments" through "On The Beach" not to mention any names! But having stayed at the Grand Yazici Beach Hotel we feel we definately profited from the error. We arrived to a very warm and friendly Welcome, the room was better than we expected,it was cleaned everyday without fail with fresh towels and bedding and the food was superb, every morning we went onto the beach pier to chillout and the staff were on the ball with bringing you fresh beach towels, before you even sat down, its really felt like 5* service, there was also a free transfer car to/from the pool at the Grand Yazici Hotel and Spa which was also excellent and has a brilliant view of Bodrum Castle and the Harbor from the side of the pool,id like to thank Augel Yazici the General Manager and his staff a very special thankyou.

Staff and managers more friendly than the main hotel and had food and drinks there which where better but to be served an Aperol with no sparkling cava or wine. had to advise them how to make this drinks. also had food at the small restaurant here and as well as dinner one evening here which was pleasant.

We visited this wonderful place from our hotel The Grand Yazici in Bodrum. There is a great shuttle service between the two hotels just 10 minutes apart.

It is a different world to the town. The facilities are lovely, the staff friendly and attentive, the beds comfortable, all with the sound of the sea lapping to the shore.

They have fabulous corner beds on the end of the pier. You need to either reserve these or be prepared to have some food or drink to get access. They do provide the luxuriant feel coupled with shade for the cautious.

Along the beach there are boats and sea toys to hire for children and adults. All good fun.

The food is good if a little pricey.

but I couldn't handle it
there are bees there everywhere the place is not charming as the photo taken not at all
the rooms were like booths and the hotel it self is very small
no music playing on the beach area it was very disappointing and boring
we asked a transfer to the grand yazici boutique hotel which owned by the same company

This is our second visit to the Grand Yazici.. We love it, and all the staff (particularly our wonderful friend Ali.. What a cool guy) We've alternated between both hotels and can honestly say that it's been fantastic both times. Very relaxing and we couldn't recommend it enough! One little issue would be the food in the evening, it's a little expensive but we enjoyed visiting Bodrum and sampling some great food!
