I stayed at Blue Dreams Resort 3 days with the family. I like to thank the manager Fatih bey at the reception for welcoming check-in he was very helpful & professional at his job, keep up the good work mate👍. It was a great 3 days we really enjoyed it, except one small incident with one of the staff at the circle bar but it was solved very quickly.

I apologise for it taking so long for me to write this review. We arrived at this hotel very late at night. The staff at reception very very friendly and helpful and helped us to our room. I should add that my mother has walking difficulties and we had some stairs into the room, but we didn’t care, as the room, and view from the room was amazing. The very next morning at breakfast, the manager came to see us and upgraded out room so my mum didn’t need to climb stairs. If you can imagine, all the staff were as thoughtful and kind the whole holiday, which made this holiday very special indeed. The facilities here were great, the views and infinity pool, beautiful. The food here was also on another level, chefs would speak to guests and listen to what people liked. The speciality restaurant made for one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I can only applaud the management for what they are trying to achieve with their customer service, as this made our experience much more memorable. I would love to be able to come back again.

This is my second time visiting Blue Dreams Bodrum, both times We had an absolutely amazing time. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor. The breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. A special thanks to the beach bar staff Onur and Hasan who always went above and beyond to make sure we had everything.I honestly can’t fault the place and will definitely go back.

Well.... I'll start with the positives: amazing views, the jetty to sit and relax on and the option to swim in the sea was the highlight of the holiday for us, truly beautiful and serene. Now it all depends on what you want from a holiday, for us it was a break from our very busy and demanding jobs, a week to unwind and relax and that we definitely did, however this is far from a 5* hotel, its just simply not at that standard. Not a high level of cleanliness anywhere nor health and safety as found loose floor tiles, beach area dirty and not easy to walk along, stair rails loose, steps into the sea and pools loose. Now whether it's because its approaching the end of the season (I really shouldn't have to make excuses for them) but it really felt everyone had given up and couldn't be bothered. We stayed in one of the Deluxe Rooms which was beautiful to be fair but you do get for free the bonus of hearing other rooms make a coffee, have a shower and flush the toilet! The rooms were cleaned as and when, the duvet didn't even fit the width of the bed so we had to ask for another. We had to ask for more toilet roll, probably wouldn't have needed more had we not both been struck with food poisoning on two separate days during our week stay! The food although a good selection was not always hot and I had the suspicion that dishes were made up from the previous nights leftovers. Morning omelettes were OK if you like raw egg! The staff always seem really eager to clear your plates even if others on your table are still eating? Maybe they have a limited supply of crockery??? On a couple of occasions the restaurant ran out of fruit juices and the beach bar ran out of ice cream, Limited to a choice of vanilla or chocolate! There are no drinks menus anywhere so if you're looking for a cocktail be ready to get either a sweet or sour cocktail. There is also no inside bar so as everything is outside it can get chilly and people seem to smoke where they please so not ideal if you're not a smoker, they also smoke at meal times on the restaurant balcony so sit inside if you don't want Fag Ash Lil sat next to you during your meals. The only place to pick up towels is in the spa reception which is not near the infinity pool or the beach??? And although the infinity pool is gorgeous, you must be a lover of gansta rap music (certain words not always blanked out) The place is run down and is in need of some love and money spending on it. Would we come back? Probably not. We've been lucky enough to visit other 5* resorts in Turkey and they far outway this one and like I said definitely not worth the 5*rating it has been given. I also don't expect to see Tip Boxes dotted around a 5* resort!!! I'd expect a lot more for my money.

Just got back yesterday from a week at Blue Dreams and felt it important to write a true review of this hotel. Overall massive disappointment and we have stayed in lots of hotels in Turkey and so have a lot to compare to. My overall feeling of this hotel was they were just trying to pacify us until they closed for the season. They tried to turn the water slides off for this reason. Only me protesting to hotel management they were turned back on. All the a la carte restaurants were shut for the season when they could have been opened . The weather day and night was beautiful. The food in the main restaurant , omg was exactly the same breakfast lunch and dinner. By the last night I just couldn’t face another plate of the same thing. No cocktails at the bar even though they advertise these on their Facebook pages etc . The drinks were served by boys that just did not care. If you asked for a coke, they would just pour you a coke out of a 2 litre bottle of Pepsi, juice just poured in front of you out of a carton. Just no pride in what they were serving and a can’t be bothered attitude. Lots of Turkish guests around the hotel with lanyards on - found out there was a medical conference on in Bodrum and they must of been letting them all stay there. Again, we are there holiday makers on sun loungers and you have people in full suits walking about it just didn’t feel right. Loose floor tiles all over the hotel especially near reception. A dirty derelict hot tub that was located next to the indoor pool. Just disgusting. Electricity cable sticking out of the broken stone steps and walking down the hill. I fell at least three times whilst there and once in the restaurant. The floor was sloppy as you walked in, I fell over and when I went to tell one of the staff they just smiled and nodded - not a clue what I was saying. Hotel advertised waffles but all we got were cold, hard waffles in a tray that were left there all day and only one flavour of ice cream was on offer next to the beach. Entertainment was just non existent. Little disco early on and then just music. Sunday , nothing at all so the staff could have a day off! Just couldn’t believe it. Used to dread the night because it was so boring. Just so disappointed in all areas of this hotel. Went for a winter break and the only thing we loved was the weather. Would have been fuming if this was my main summer holiday. The hotel was the most amazing views but the hotel is itself is tired. Needs a lot of repair and a lot of effort in the management , staff and entertainment. Sort it out Blue Dreams 👎

Stayed here for 10 days September. Resort was value for money but nothing outstanding and definitely not 5☆.... more like 3☆ UK. Rooms were clean and spacious. Pool areas were kept clean, but unfortunately, the beach was never cleaned at all, and rubbish sat for days there. Food was plentiful but perhaps not for children. Drinks were just OK as the bar staff had no clue how to make proper cocktails, and they were very heavy-handed with spirits. There is no drinks menu in the resort for guests, which is poor. Plenty of fridges around the resort to help yourself to water, which is good. Entertainment was pretty poor and very loud well into the night. You'll definitely hear it no matter where your accommodation is in the resort. Overall, I would recommend this resort for the value and would definitely stay here rather than Bodrum. Probably would avoid peak summer though as its more relaxing out of season.

I have traveled to Turkey many times, mainly to 5-star hotels, but unfortunately I must say that this hotel is a weak 4. But one by one... A definite advantage is the location and distance from the airport in Bodrum (approx. 25 minutes). The views from the hotel are wonderful. The distance from any places, especially from the city, is quite large and has its disadvantages, although you can get to the center of Bodrum by a local bus from the hotel gate (I waited for it for 5 minutes) - it is cheap - 30 Turkish lira per person. A taxi costs 350 lira. The hotel is located on a slope - a large slope to access the main road but also to the reception. Lots of stairs if your room is on the higher floors. There are elevators, but the waiting time for them is very long due to the size of the hotel... The infinity pool is a huge advantage - great views, plenty of sunbeds, no problem with free space. Very varied food, dinners and themed days, everyone will find something for themselves - everything is fresh and tasty. The hotel service was great! From waiters, bartenders, to animators and the reception manager. Unfortunately, not everyone at the reception speaks English, which is a big surprise to me. It is worth taking advantage of the SPA services and water sports. The beach is very small (even minimal) and rocky. It's worth taking water shoes. As for bars - after 11 p.m. alcohol is available only in a bar very far from the hotel center. But all bars offer both local and imported alcohol - whatever you want - the bartenders are great! Rooms cleaned every day, fresh towels, linen changed very often, cosmetics, mini bar refilled daily with water and other drinks (Pepsi, Fanta, Sprite) - it's great here! It's worth choosing a better room, although I had some adventures. First, we got a completely different room than I booked (old and with entrance through balcony doors right next to the pavement), we changed to higher floors (newer rooms, but unfortunately in the second week - the ceiling started leaking, which we reported, but the staff said they would take care of it when we left - finally, in the middle of the night one day - the ceiling in the bathroom fell onto the floor - good thing there was no one in the shower). We were changed to an older room again. The hotel has potential, but I certainly wouldn't give it 5*.

We visited in August and this is an honest review of how I viewed my stay here. Firstly, I’d like to point out that I’ve stayed in many 5* hotels across many countries but this - I’d like to state, is categorically not a 5*. A 4* maybe, but definitely not a 5. Below are a range of honest reasons without any embellishments: 1. When we arrived, I got a first indication that this was not 5* when my family had to wheel our suitcases up the hill to the reception. I’ve never had to do that in a 5* hotel. 2. The sunbeds are not rattan but plastic, this I did not expect in a 5*. 3. Access to towels at the pool was dismal. All guests had to go considerable distance on different floors in order to pick a towel up from the spa. There were no other places to pick up a towel. In fact, I was informed by a worker that the decision to collect towels from spa was to encourage more guests to visit the spa and book a spa package. 4. The hotel advertises itself as 5* but serve nuts and some soft drinks in plastic or disposable cups. No respectful 5* hotel would ever serve nuts in a disposable cup. It’s also an awful decision in terms of trying to watch your carbon footprint. 5. I’ve never visited a 5* with such poor hygiene. The pool area and sunbed areas were not cleaned enough. I think this is purely because of a lack of workers and poor management in terms of someone supervising the cleanliness of areas. Poolside bins were overflowing, tables were dirty and big bags were seen dotted around areas. It is not a good look for a 5* hotel. 6. The gym equipment was poor. One of the treadmills wasnt working, the cross trainer was faulty. There is no water or towels in the gym and I’ve never known a gym to open at 9am in a 5* hotel. They always open by 6am so that guests can work out and then go for breakfast. There was also no one supervising the gym. In the event of an accident, they would be liable. 7. The room service was poor with rooms not cleaned for days on end sometimes. We had to ask to have our rooms cleaned every morning. Often the cleaning was poor and rushed. 8. We had cold shower water for 3 days and even after calling a technician they could not fix it. I was made to feel like my complaint was a lie when there really is no need for me to lie. When I went to reception time and time again, I was asked some pretty daft questions: ‘what can we do for you to compensate? When the manager asks a guest this question there really is something wrong. They are in charge and should come up with solutions and compensation packages. Any self-respecting 5* hotel would have offered an immediate upgrade. This hotel offered a late check-out which was a kick in the teeth kind of an offer since a late check-out is offered by all 5* hotels to guests who have not had any issues with their stay. 9. We went for dinner one evening and one of our guests could not attend the meal because of an upset stomach. When I asked one of the workers if someone can deliver a small plate or fruit to the ill guests they refused because they did not have the staff available. 10. This I was really surprised by, the number of workers and managers who openly smoke in communal areas and whilst on duty. They also use a hidden area to smoke but it is near the entrance of some of the guest rooms. I’ve never known workers in 5* hotels to smoke near or around guests. 11. The most worrying thing is this, in and around the pool area there are textured tiles dotted with a lighter grey tile which is slightly different to the others. These tiles are not anti-slip and I witnessed a significant number of guests falling and seriously injuring themselves. The on-site nurse who work for Medicare then go out of their way to hound you and transport you to hospital in order to claim money from your travel insurance. We experienced this rather heavy handed treatment. Overall, managers don’t deal with things quickly enough leaving guests waiting endlessly. It is up to the guest to chase after them or find them. Managers do not monitor the hotel and do not check that the hotel grounds are tidy and clean. A 5* hotel motto should consist of: Nothings a problem, never say no, nothings too much to ask, attention to detail should be outstanding, guest to staff ratio should be exact, every whim should be catered to, and staff should help guests enjoy it their holidays. I felt this was not the case. Compliments and thanks to: Ayana and Sezim beyzanur who booked the lovely fish restaurant. The views at the hotel are simply stunning, but this is God’s work, not the hotels. The location and access to Bodrum city is also excellent. I write this review with total honesty. There is a lot of potential for this hotel but standards are poor.

Let’s start with the positives.. Check in was nice and easy despite arriving late and we were taken to our room by one of the staff in a car which was a nice touch as we had no clue where we were going. Room. Absolutely everything you could need. Put together nicely, great bathroom (despite the drain blocking every time we used the shower) , nice decor and clean. Beds are ridiculously uncomfortable but I guess that’s all subjective to the bed type you like but they were extremely hard….too hard for us. Nether the less little complaints. Pools. They are all clean, beautiful, well maintained albeit a little cold. Obviously that’s not a hotel issue so zero complaints here. The hotel grounds are stunning.. views are amazing, tea garden, pier, Jetty’s, walkways, gardens are all picturesque. Yes it’s hilly, yes it’s not great if you have mobility issues but we don’t so suited us perfectly. Aesthetically I don’t see how anyone could complain about how the hotel looks and the location it is in. Staff. Hit and miss. Some friendly, some need training on understanding if you are eating from a plate it means don’t try and clear it. Bar staff again hit and miss. Some friendly, some look at you like you are a burden. Water park staff are going to kill somebody someday. Completely lacking in any safety awareness resulting in both myself and my partner getting injured due to their carelessness. Following on from above the language barrier has never been so apparent. Having visited turkey several times this was by far the hardest to communicate with anyone including the medical team who we visited after the water park incident. Even the medical team were trying to use google translate to diagnose the issue which if I’m honest Stevie wonder could of done a better job upon looking at the injuries sustained. Food… really really poor…. I know it’s all inclusive but the hotel needs better food hygiene and needs to keep food hotter. Both my partner and I did our best to steer clear of a lot of cooked food sat there luke warm, but both still managed to get food poisoning despite only staying for 5 days. Snack restaurant serving pizzas in the afternoon was great though and this was the only meal we felt safe eating and we did enjoy. Drinks.. all local spirits, all poor quality and more isn’t more and somebody needs to tell staff this. Filling my plastic cup with half paintstripper rum and a splash isn’t enjoyable. Due to the language barrier we just kept ordering soft drinks separately as we failed in our attempt to find drinks we actually enjoyed. Each staff member has “their special cocktail” and I can confirm all should steer clear of the move into mixology. Russians…. They’re just rude, abrupt and completely unaware of those around them.. this of course has absolutely nothing to do with the hotel but bear this in mind if you’re planning on visiting as it’s 80% Russians. To summarise it’s beautiful and has so much going for the hotel but food, drink and service means we would not return to this hotel but 100% this area.
