My wife and I wanted to get away for a couple of days. We have been to Lake Murray State Park before and always enjoyed our stay in one of the cabins. This time we were please to find that all of the 2 and 4 person cabins have been updated. They still have a rustic feel but the floors,... More

This was the perfect spot for our girls weekend. We stayed in a cabin for two nights. We cooked most of our meals on the grill and enjoyed nightly campfires! I feel the cabin was a little like roughing it but with luxuries (bathroom, kitchen, beds, TV and air conditioner) we all enjoy. I found a few things that needed... More

The old lodge is old and worn out, but the new lodge is opening in Feb 2017. Beautiful waters, nice pool area, nice beach area with climbing and bouncing water toys, putt putt golf and water craft rentals all in one area. Nice Golf Course, in the State Park, plus the Fireside restaurant was nice for evening dining. We stayed... More

The lake is absolutely beautiful, the water is so clean (for an Oklahoma lake). We stayed 4 nights at the Elephant Rock campsite. If you want to be on the lake this site is the best. The restrooms were clean, but the showers cost, and the change machine was broken. The sites along the lake are awesome because the beach... More

Attended a friends wedding at lake Murray St park. Chapel there was nice, unique. We had drinks at the lodge afterwards. Lodge was a bit warm & had a musty smell as we entered. Lots of construction at this area, they're doing improvements. Would be fun for an afternoon, day trip. Wait staff was good. Prices fair.

We had a great time. The 2 person cottage was perfect for my husband and myself, we had a full kitchen, queen bed and good size bathroom at a great price. We could not have asked for more. We have found a new favorite place to getaway. Perfect for a couple of days or for a week long vacation. Staff... More

We have visited the park many times over the years. The park and outside of the cabins are well maintained. BUT, the beds are awful!!!! You'd be more comfortable sleeping in a tent on the hard ground!!!!! The kitchens do have a stove, refrigerator and microwave and I think a coffee maker which is nice...BUT....there are no pans, dishes, cups,... More

I have lived in Ok my whole life and just now decided to camp at Lake Murray. I didnt know it was Oklahoma's first state park. The CCC built park still has lots of original bridges, buildings, and towers. We camped at Elephant Rock campground. It was very clean with full hook ups. We also toured Tucker Tower. It was... So as stated by previous reviewers, the Lodge is old and not particularly modern but our room was clean and as stated, the new lodge will be open soon. The thing I want to address is that while there are some great activities around the lodge, if you have young children who will want to swim one last time before... More

I rented a cabin with a screen porch for 4 days. The screen was torn in several places and a cat or rodent could have fit through one of the wholes on the door. The slats on the blinds were torn so badly that people from the road could see in. The internet said 10. a day per pet and... More
