Like visiting your grandma in an ancient farmhouse. Linda puts on great breakfasts, lunches and dinners, highly recommended. BYOB or walk to the little store for beer or wine. CAUTIONS: 1. Not a drop-in meal stop, they need to know you are coming 2. Road from Gold Beach has occasional, seasonal slumps which can damage suspension over 30mph. Allow 1-1/2...

For 100+ years this family owned and operated river lodge has been hosting down river guides and guests as they float the river on multi day fishing trips through the wild and scenic section of the Rogue. Located in Agness about a 2hr drive from Medford / Grants Pass. Nice clean and comfortable rooms....Dinners served on the large screened in...

My grandson and I went on a road trip and Jerry's Rogue boats was one of our stops. We had a choice of three places to eat on our trip and my grandson chose Lucas for the fried chicken. We arrived and it was extremely hot (95) and the path while not long for the younger ones I opted to...

Went with a group of friends from Brookings, Oregon for a day trip. Some stayed the night but we just stayed for a great lunch and enjoying each others company. Wonderful fried chicken lunch. Apparently ribs for dinner and full breakfast. All home cooked and served family style. Those who stayed the night either in a cabin or in the...

The Lucas Lodge is one of three lunch stop choices in Agness for those taking a jet boat trip up the Rogue River. We always choose the Lucas Lodge because of its homemade, family style dinning out on their screened porch. Fried chicken, corn on the cob, biscuits, etc. This is the third time we have had lunch there. We...

Great Family Atmosphere. Family owned for over 100 years. Great Food All homemade. They have a fried chicken that is so good and the pickled beets tasted so fresh and homemade biscuits, but the homemade jam was so yummy. Then they had ice cream with blackberry syrup oh my goodness. Would love to come back beautiful home and property. Thank...

We spent 3 nights at Lucas Lodge and enjoyed every aspect of our experience. Owners Randy and Linda made us feel right at home. The property itself is beautiful, right next to the Rogue River, and the cabins are spaced far enough apart that you can enjoy some privacy in this peaceful setting. The historic lodge is a great place...

While staying in Gold beach our nephew had told us what an awesome place the little community Agness was, so we went for a drive on this crazy winding road for approx. 35 miles and ended up outside of this wonderful place called Lucas Lodge, when a nice lady came out and asked if we needed help. Linda was her...

Loved this rustic little lodge! We didn't get the pleasure of staying here but had a lunch stop. The home style food to die for, you will not leave hungry. Pan fried chicken, home made honey butter topped biscuits with blackberry jam, fresh home grown cucumber salad, the best mashed potatoes and gravy I've ever had, and corn on the...

We had a great time at Lucas Lodge in Agness, OR. We stayed the night in a cozy cabin. We joined a group of fisherman for dinner in the lodge and again in the morning for breakfast. The food was delicious and the hospitality was very genuine. We would definitely go back and hopefully can next year. Don't miss out.

“We stayed in a cabin down in the grove of trees and it just looks like a cabin from yesteryear. A couple of the others looked a little more modern. I'm sure if you ask for a rustic cabin they will try to give you one!”
