We spent 2 comfortable, enjoyable nights at this beautiful property. The lodge is truly well built, spacious and appointed with many interesting objects. Our room was actually a suite since it had a queen bed downstairs and another upstairs. We had a spacious balcony which overlooked the stream. The bathroom had a deep tub with a hand held shower. In the...

We checked in for ONE night. The ground floor room STANK of cigarette smoke. (There was an ashtray right outside the exit on a bench where someone on staff clearly REGULARLY smokes as the ashtray was overflowing... this was within 3 feet of the exit, which was ironically posted with a sign that says "No smoking within 10 feet" citing...

I'll start by saying we are locals. We have been going to The restaurant and Lodge since they opened. We have rented out the entire lodge for special occasions and had the restaurant cater the food. We stopped by last week to talk with the owner about renting again for a special venue. We walked in but nobody was around....

First off, the lodge itself is really nice. The location is picturesque. We went to hear some great music and that was fun! The music venue is the lobby of the lodge and it is good, although like a sauna in there as apparently the neighbors complain about the noise so they have to keep the doors shut. We did...

stayed here and had family in town and put them up here as well. Nice place, cute rooms, and a nice eatery right next to the river in Applegate. Even used one of their offsite cabins/suites. Very nice and staff was always helpful

When I entered the parking lot, on a tricky left, that I saw The Lodge and headed to the woods, as I quickly checked in. Being crippled by arthritis, I had no problem getting where I needed to go. The food was delicious and I felt great, standing next to SugarBob!

Unfortunately, the lodge is just extremely unclean. The sheets were clearly not washed, and I ended up with a skin condition after the trip. I don't believe anyone would be willing to end up with a skin disease for staying in a place where people don't bother to clean the sheets. The price for the stay is largely raised by...

So much craftmenship and love in this lodge. Really very stunning... The high ceilings reach to meet the tall beautiful trees that line the Applegate river. Just up the river is the last remaining bridge of its type in the area which the owners friends and family raised funds so that the bridge could be inducted in to the county's...

What can I say? Friends who live in Applegate area took us there for dinner. It was a cool fall evening & dining room was very cold. Server wasn't very skilled - but friendly. Prices way to high for the quality of food & service. Couldn't recommend it.

We stopped by this wonderful, rustic picturesque river lodge and although they were not open for lunch the staff there were super and showed us around and told us stories of the lodge. We so enjoyed our too short visit. Next time we were stay over. We would like to especially thank, Tina, who was very sweet and friendly. What...
