Great accommodations, friendly and helpful staff. Ideal location. We were able to walk to the theaters and restaurants easily. Having the Peerless Restaurant next door is really nice we had dinner there two nights and enjoyed the meals.

INNKEEPER’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 14 September 2016

Room 7 at The Peerless is our favorite place to stay when we go to Ashland, home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (which is so much more than Shakespeare, but that's for another review). The Peerless is staffed by people who have been with the hotel since its inception, or so it seems. They are friendly, professional, and highly attentive.... More

Well, the stairs to the second floor creak, and there may be a ghost in the halls in the wee hours, but this place is a wonder. The owner and staff have been nothing but cordial and accommodating over the several years I've traveled to Ashland to visit the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. As their "before" photos show, this place was... More

Always great service, helpful staff and outstanding facilities. Location is great, near downtown, OSF, shops and restaurants. Has been our go to hotel for years and never been disappointed. Excellent value and the included breakfast is worth the trip!

The service is unparalelled and the atmosphere is sophisticated. I will always stay at the peerless when I'm in Ashland. The breakfast was an amazing experience. Book in advance so you can choose your favorite room. They're all unique.

Once again, our stay at The Peerless Hotel was wonderful. The rooms are delightful and comfortable, and very functional as well. It's a luxurious vacation experience all around. The location is great - if you don't know the railroad district of Ashland, it's time to do so. It's quiet, peaceful, yet full of interesting spots. The hotel is close to... More

Some rooms are more fun than others. We loved the upstairs corner room last year and this year were a little disappointed in the downstairs room. It is great to walk to the plays and be close to town but this is a new part of town with plenty for us to do and good restaurant.

Thank you for the comments. All six of our rooms have their own unique personality and guests do have their favorites. We hope that you can join us again in the upstairs suite 7 that you enjoyed last year. More

very friendly welcome, restored historic building, comfortable rooms with period decor, large garden, very good breakfasts, within walking distance of theaters and restaurants. Across the garden is the related Peerless restaurant, one of the better ones in town.

I cannot imagine a year without a pilgrimage to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, which means staying at The Peerless. It's been 11 years and counting. I also love quiet time there during the winter if I can get away, which I've done and treasured.
