Not our first trip to Lost Parrot, we go every chance we get! Love the cabins & decor, love Cat & Cliff & love the fact that you can be surrounded by amenities and everything you need but never have to see anyone if you don't want to, for a romantic getaway!!! On the other hand, if your husband is...

This place is amazing. I will be staying here again. The cabins are so wonderfully decorated and very clean. We stayed with a group of friends in to cabins and had a great time. The pool area is perfect. I was nice listening to the band play at night. Read more and see pictures at my blog http://www.sitestoseeutah.blogspot.com Jamie Stimpson...

Lost Parrot Cabins is a very unique cute place to stay. Everything about our cabin was very nice.We were a bit dissappointed that there were not two queen size beds in our room as described. Perhaps that description should be changed. We all got a message right there on the premises which was wonderful. We were thrilled that this was...

We arrived tired and jet lagged having flown over from England and then driven all the way from Houston ... I had found the Lost Parrot Cabins online and been enchanted by the sense of fun, peace and vibrance of the place - also very helpful dealings with both Cat and Cliff the wonderful owners before we arrived. Just a...

I took my husband here for a surprise birthday getaway to the hill country and this little mexican style paradise is just simply amazing!! Cliff and Cat, the owners have done an incredible job of making you feel like you are in another far away, peaceful, secluded paradise!! The cabins (don't know why they call them that - they are...

The Lost Parrot is a funky little place which is decorated beautifully and creatively with numerous unusual and eye-catching items from Mexico. Our cabin was nothing short of spectacular and there is a really relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The swimming pool area is very nice indeed and the porch of our cabin was fantastic with hammocks and rocking chairs. The...

I didn't feel like the stay was quite worth the money. There are no lake views, just views of the hills or trees. The pool is an above ground that had the polaris in it the whole time. There WAS a rotten-egg smell in our room and we DID bring it to the owners attention, so there was no excuse...

The Lost Parrot Cabins in Austin, Texas is one of the most unusual and enjoyable vacation spots I have ever visited. Each cabin is decorated in a Mexican or Guatamelan motif. The colors, pictures and decorations are vividly colorful but represent an amazing feat of interior decorating. All of the pictures and decorative items (masks, knick-knacks, memorabilia) are from a...

“Take a peek at the cabin descriptions... they describe each cabin well. I love the La Bodega Bungalow - set down the hill from the rest of the cabins. GREAT patio.”

“Look on the web site and examine the rooms, sizes, etc. for your party. Each is different and each has it own personality... suggest you talk with Cliff and tell him what you're doing.”

“It is rustic, you areVery close to nature so if that isn't your thing, you may not enjoy it as much. Pool is small so if you dont want to socialize, be prepared. They are very attentive in a good way. Bungalow amenities vary, eat out every meal or bring groceries and cook.. Gas grills are available throughout.”
