Stayed at the hotel for a conference. The room was comfortable. The hotel is connected to the Crystal City underground which mage it easy to access the Metro, restaurants and shops without going outside. Food at the hotel is limited, but there are plenty of low cost options for

The hotel and room were clean, staff was friendly. The room was not the one I reserved. Spent the night listening to the ice and soda machines in the hallway. The connecting doors to the next room made the guy next door speaking on the phone about his plans in DC a bit

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel beginning with the reception and ending at checkout. There is easy access to the Metro and the parking is convenient. We had one issue during a rainy period where rain was coming into the room through one of the windows. We reported it

The hotel is overall a nice place for conferences. Rooms are large with plenty of furniture. Depending on the time, you might get nice help from some of the staff. Troy, Syed, and an Asian lady at the counter got a bottle for my flowers and cut the stems so the flowers will fit

You are driving to Miami from DC? That is a very long day’s drive! Call the hotel about a shuttle. Parking is not cheap in the Crystal City area You are better off renting the car when you actually need it.

How long of a metro ride to the Mall in DC?
We don't know where on the Mall you are going--the Mall is about a mile long. The walk from the hotel lobby to the Metro station (all underground) is about 10 minutes. During the week, trains run every 10-15 minutes or so-more so in rush hours. The Yellow line train, which I would prefer, takes you to the Archives station at 7th & Pennsylvania. You walk a few blocks across PA ave and you are mid-Mall. The ride may be 20 minutes. The Blue line takes you to the Smithsonian station at 12th & Independence. There are more museums here. This ride takes about 30-35 minutes. Metro maps are online.

How long of a metro ride to the Mall in DC?
Between five and ten minutes. From Crystal City, board the Yellow Line to Greenbelt. Exit at Archives/Navy Memorial/Penn Quarter. At the top of the escalator, behind you will be 7th Street. Follow that south (across Pennsylvania Avenue and away from the Starbucks) for about two blocks. You're at the Mall. Some will say to exit at L'Enfant Plaza. Although Archives/Navy Memorial/Penn Quarter is one stop further along the Yellow Line it is a much easier station to navigate. L'Enfant has multiple exits, several of which will take you inconveniently further from the Mall. Be mindful not to board the Blue Line. It serves many stations on the Mall but is a longer trip.
