Charming hotel and spa and we loved our room. Only issues were we were on the street side 3rd floor and it was very noisy on a Friday night, motorcycles and music from either the street or ballroom until after 12:30am. The AC until was also loud so we didn't sleep that great. We like soft comfy beds which there were not.The...

Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed your room, but I am sorry about the noise. Please note that you stayed during Oyster Run weekend, which is the largest motorcycle rally in the Pacific Northwest. Oyster Run occurs on the last Sunday of September each year. I hope you can join us any other day of the...

We booked our room through Hotels.com based on reviews there. They did not do it justice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We particularly like the freshly ground coffee we were give at check in. Nice touch. Making it in the French Press produced one of the best coffees I've had. The 5th Street Bistro was so good we had breakfast...

They tell you they don't charge you upfront when checking in take your CC info at that time and proceed to charge you anyway. Then at check out they charge you again. Its only after I called them on it that they refunded one of the charges the next day. I guess i wasn't important enough to be able to...

Dear Mr. Lindquist, thank you for your review. I am sorry that you had originally been overcharged and that I was off the day you had tried to reach me. However, our front desk supervisor immediately took care of you and refunded you correctly, and I gave you a call back the next morning. When I spoke with you that...

We have stayed at The Majestic for years and have never once had anything but complete excellence. The last 2 times we have stayed in the new building. Both the historic building and the new building are amazing, each with it's own charm. The rooftop bar is fantastic and a must if visiting when the weather permits. The staff cannot...

This is a nice property, in the heart of Anacortes, with the friendliest staff always ready to help you plan your day. We were travelling with friends and both rooms were lovely. We enjoyed the restaurant/lounge very much (highly recommend the pork chop) and slept like babies. The weekends are $100/night higher rate than Mon-Thurs so if you are vacationing,...

The hotel is centrally located in downtown Anacortes within walking distance of several good restaurants. It is well kept up. Our room was very large with a comfortable bed and large sitting area. There was also an outdoor deck that had a view of the water. The room also had a refrigerator and many spaces to recharge electronics. The only...

I am so glad I stayed at this place. Cute room in historic building, friendly and very helpful staff in restaurant and front desk, gave me AAA discount even after most places generally say "too bad". Stacia in the bar was super! Locals hang out here. Another perc was using the town taxi service (Mert's) that was super nice, friendly,...

We visited Anacortes on our way to the San Juan Islands. What a gem. The staff was wonderful, offering us coffee grounds for our French press in our room and offering suggestions on places to see or eat. We had the corner room on the top floor. Hotel room was quaint and very clean. We visited the rooftop bar which...

Thank you so much for your lovely review. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Please note that we close the Rooftop Lounge shortly following sunset. In May, June, July, and August, sunset is much later, so the roof stays open much later then. We hope to see you back again soon!

Made a reservation in advance and asked for an early check in and a room in the new building. This was oked by reservationist. No problem he said. We checked in a little after 10am on a Friday morning as my husband had business appointments in the area. We stood at the check in desk and were totally ignored. I...

Plenty of parking, friendly staff, and large rooms are hallmarks here. There are no real outstanding views from anywhere in the hotel. The place is obviously a restored and preserved old building and there are historical pictures throughout. It was a fun place to stay. I have been told that it is the best in town-but it is the only...
