The Kamakura Guest House! ❤️ A traditional Japanese style home with tatami mats, futons, buckwheat pillows, irori and kotatsu. Thank goodness they didn’t have washiki! The staff was AWESOME! And despite that I don’t get up from the floor as easily as I used to, I would stay

I had a really great time here. The common room gave all the guests a chance to talk with each other, and staff was always ready to help us and could give us many useful suggestions such as where to visit. For breakfast, I tried bagel in the basement cafe and it was perfect. I

"nice staff"
"If you want a real experience stay in a shared dorm, the guesthouse has private ones but dorm would be my choice again."
"Pemandangan baik, traditional suite yang selesa dan istimewa."
"I particularly enjoyed the traditional fireplace featured in their photo section - like a cozy campfire indoors."
"If you intend to stay here, be mindful that this place is NOT a hotel, so do remember to bring your own towel. Alternatively, the guesthouse will give you a small towel for just 200yen. It is also not a very big guesthouse, so best not to bring big luggage bags."
