Very clean rooms, hot showers, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, clean pool, coffee corner... overall a good place to stay in Rurrenabaque! It seems to be one of the best places in town, i would recommend it!

We have stayed for a night before a jungle lodge experience and were very happy. It was very quiet, not many other guests. In fact, we were the only ones using the pool all day. It was very relaxing. Also we loved the garden, it's beautiful and there are a couple of funny talking green parrots.
The room was nice, not luxurious, but it had everything we needed, including air conditioning. There was a mini bar with free water and some snacks for purchase.
The staff was nice, friendly and patient with my very basic Spanish skills. They provide airport transfer free of charge if notified in advance.
We had a very relaxing stay and were really sorry we couldn't extend it by a couple of more days.

This hotel is in town, on the banks of the Beni river. It was our stopover on arrival in Rurrenabaque and in between trips to the Pamapas and Madidi Jungle. So two, 1 night stays.

This is a friendly place and we were pretty comfortable. There is hot water and air conditioning, along with a little fridge for cold beer and pop. Seems not very spectacular until you have spent some time in the Jungle / Pampas Eco Lodges, which although great for what they are doing, are not as comfortable.

The hotel has all the facilities needed, is clean, tidy and very well run. They did all our laundry overnight for our next trip very willingly.

It was nice to sit out by the pool and watch the world go by in the morning and evening, up and down river.
Breakfast is all there is. It was simple, well prepared and plentiful. We walked into town to buy things for a light dinner, but there are tons of restaurants in town.

There is normal mains electricity to charge everything 24/7.
Internet was slow but free.

I was a bit hesitant to go to Madidi National Park cause I am not at all a "party person" and having read some blogs and reviews for other hotels I was dreading ending up in an amazon party walhalla feeling terribly out of place.

Luckily there was the Maya de la Amazonia :D
The hotel is in the higher price range as far as Rurre goes which means you don't have the loud party music and drunk people as you might in one of the many neighbouring hostels.

The rooms are not luxurious by any means - keep in mind where you are, middle of nowhere - but everything is clean, the bed is comfy and the showers work and have hot water.

I spent a few hours relaxing in the garden with a book, taking a dip into the pool every now and then.
Note: the pool could be cleaner but I made it out alive so ... not too bad ;)

An extra "thank you" to the staff of this hotel.
As I was leaving to Madidi early in the morning it slipped my mind to recover my bikini which was drying outside the room. When I went back to the hotel few days afterwards and tried to explain with hand gestures (English knowledge at the front desk is very limited) what my bikini had looked like, they were happy to recover it for me :)

The hotel room was clean and comfortable, slept really well. breakfast was simple but good and adequate. This isn't a 5 star hotel, so don't expect the works. They were service minded and stored our large luggage during the 4 days we were on a trip to the flooded Pampas. Enjoyed our stay both times. Easy walk to restaurants.
Thank Harry R
