Despite what Lonely Planet says about lower room upgrades I found my second floor room looking like it never got such. It was roomy. Wanted to take a hot/warm shower (due to cold/cough) but the maid could not get it to work and while she called the front desk no one ever showed so I was out of luck. Was...

Filthy, Rude. Dank. Smelly. Alternatively nicknamed "Casa de Crap" "Motel de Mildao" and simply "Hell" during our 5-day stay. First the good (what there was of it): the location is decent, not far off of the main placa, close to the Teatro. There is a large outdoor cafe with a TV for game viewing. But.... -The hotel is filthy. Grimy....

I needed to crash somewhere for one night between the Amazon tour and my flight from Manaus - for this purpose Brazil hotel did the job. But not for longer. Hotel is dirty, I killed on cockroach myself. AC is old and very noisy (I switched if off for the night) The first room I was given the key from...

The Hotel is o.k. for one night, but I wouldn't want to stay longer. The rooms are very old and smelly and haven't been renovated in a long time. Breakfast is very good though. Location is in a safe and convenient area.

To start with this hotel was booked through our tour guide in the Amazon and was merely used as a place to crash before an Amazon Tour. We arrived at 1 am and the hotel was dead as was this part of town. The room was very dirty and we weren't sure if the linen had been changed prior to...

We were actually booked into this place through a tour provider and made the mistake of not checking reviews even though some seem to be ok - looking at them now. We arrived at 2am and the area already looked dodgy. Our first impression should get confirmed. The room we were led to already had tenants. At least two roaches...

As another reviewer pointed out, does the job. Rooms are pretty modest but the showers are hot and there is a fridge and AC in the rooms that seem to work. Lots of TV stations though not sure there were any in English. WiFi in the lobby/common room on the first floor is pretty quick but not accessible from the...

My brother and I were travelling to the jungle and only stayed at this hotel for 1 night for a stopover. The hotel did the job for us but if we were staying in Manuas for longer i don't think we would go back. The breakfast was a very strange one to say the least. I have had food from...
