Great hotel which is close to lovely beaches, restaurants and bars. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff were so helpful booking boats, taxis etc for going to Morro de Sao Paulo. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Well designed hotel! I loved the restyle of the ancient colonial house. A fantastic view on the bay... Room was spacious and clean... Breakfast was very good! Concerning dinner I didn't have a good remind! Not cured! Team seemed to me professional!

I know the Zank since it opened and I have stayed there maybe 10 times or more. It`s by far my favourite place in Salvador, its sober Brazilian style represents very well the soul of Salvador. I love the ocean view and you can leave the windows open at night, hearing its calming sound. breakfast is quintessentially Bahian as well... More

Great location and great food. We were able to walk to many of the restaurants and bars we wanted to try and felt very safe walking at night. Brazilian nightlife runs late so we really appreciated that the delicious breakfast buffet went until noon. Everything else that wasn't walking distance was generally a quick cab ride away. The pool is... More

Rooms were renovated, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The location was not ideal - stay closer to the restaurants and old town if you like to walk - however, cabs are pretty inexpensive if need be. The air conditioning for our room was not working and the water was not hot enough. The concierges spoke great English and were very helpful... More

Boutique hotels make me nervous because you never know what you're going to get - but in this case it was a wonderful surprise! To keep it short, here are all the awesome highlights: - beautiful property, outside and inside - loved sitting on the patio with a drink in the early evening - bathrooms are beautiful and very clean... Decent enough hotel. Looks really impressive from outside and in the lobby and you get a nice welcome of fresh coconut water. I'd say from there inwards it gets more average. The room was super clean, good air con, TV, bathroom facilities, but it's wasn't as luxury as I feel like they would like to be seen. A lot of... More

“I think they have an old wing and a new wing. I stayed in the old house part, which I liked because it has more character. I stayed in room one and it was super spacious, with big bathroom with claw foot tub. It is above the lobby and entrance to hotel, but I did not experience any bothersome noise.”
