Amazing experience. Peaceful, friendly and lovely place to stay. Beautiful decor and great atmosphere! They were so lovely with our family. The staff is lovely and very careful with the guests. Delicious and healthy breakfast. Very close to Quadrado and not so far from the beach. They supply us of all information about the good sites to visit and the...

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our suite was large, well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The Caipirinhas at sunset did taste divine. If I had to find one thing I did not love, it was the three large dogs running around the tables at breakfast time, putting their heads on...

After spending time in Rio and Chapada Diamantina National Park it was time for some rest and relaxation. Etnia Pousada is a jungle oasis nestled within the adorable yet sophisticated village of Trancoso. It's as though the Pousada were carved out of the jungle in a remote part of the country. You can easily forget that just beyond its gates...

Spent 4 wonderful days at this magical place in Trancoso. The beautiful property is sent in a lush garden within walking distance of the famous Quadrado and the beach. We stayed in the Goa suite which was super spacious and featured an outdoor seating area. Breakfast was amazing, served every morning by the pool. Trancoso is a laid back little...

Etnia was a lovely secluded spot in Bahia with a nice little pool and great poolside breakfasts and low-key living. What was most wonderful was that on the last day, we lost our safe key, and the manager of the property swiftly found help in town (on a Sunday when the entire town doesn't work), and got us our passports...

We spent 5 nights in Villas de Trancoso. The place is perfect, villas are large and luxurious, staff is wonderful - they even arranged activities for us - the beach and setting is breathtaking, and the food is delicious. The two bedroom villas are great for families of 4 or 5. Our kids loved it, especially the surf and free...

Our travel agency recommended this hotel and it was a perfect choice. The hotel is an oasis in charming Trancoso with a very personal touch. The rooms as well as the restaurant and salon are beatifully decorated with personally selected furniture. The food is very good and you should try Etnia's own sparkling wine which is superb. The best feature,...

The warm welcome of Andrea and the team made us feel at home straight away. The chalet was very spacious, beautifully and tastefully decorated. The service was discreet and very efficient, attentive to all our needs. We had great food by the pool in the evenings, breakfasts were excellent and varied everyday. Each day we eagerly anticipated our early evening...

I have to say that I was really surprised with that hotel. Amazing location, and like living in a forest, but with facilities of a big city. The location is breathtaking, birds, flower, green and very kind staffs! :) Found a bit hard to see more of the hotel in the website, was happy with the few I could check...

We recently returned from staying in this delightful if a little quirky Etnia. We were travelling with our three adult children, we all loved Etnia. We arrived after a day of travelling from Rio and wow what a welcome sight the tropical path leading to the swimming pool/restaurant area. We had our own 2 bedroom fabulous house/villa in the beautifully...
