This place is an old fashioned mom-and-pop hotel on the main drag of Afton. It is across the street from the fairgrounds, which is convenient (if you want to try killing yourself by crossing four lanes of highway traffic). It was clean, but basic. The beds were good and they did have an extra pillow in one of the drawers.... More

After driving all day we found that the usual chain hotels were full for an event and luckily came across the Lazy B 😃. Clean and freshly painted, a comfortable bed, lovely people at a very reasonable price. Charming!

This was the last room and camp spot available from Yellowstone to Afton. We had been sight seeing in Yellowstone and Teton national parks. We were hoping to find something in Jackson, there were 2 rooms left at around $499-$600! We ended up at the last hotel in Jackson, which was full. The Saint at the front desk knew the... More

It was getting late as we drove through what was once a small western town that now had become an adult overpriced adult Disneyland, (Jackson Hole WY) $220 - 325 a night to sleep for a few hours in a motel / quick check / gas station parking lot.( Here come the tourist chaching). Took out the AAA Tour guide... More

Each summer my wife and I spend a night at the Lazy B in Afton, WY. The motel is clean and the owner is on site assuring each guest has a great stay. I can without hesitation recommend Lazy B to my fellow travelers. The town of Afton has an "Old West" feel, with all the modern conveniences of home.

This is actually the 1st time I've stayed in a motel instead of a chain, I have to admit I would snub locally owned & go straight for the big chains. Since Afton has no chain hotels I reluctantly found myself @ the Lazy B. Now I feel like a jerk for making assumptions. The Lazy B was hospital clean,... More

This hotel is a basic hotel. Mediocre cleanliness, mediocre accommodations, etc. It's a mom and pop type place that usually the charm of the owners makes up for lack of amenities, but NOT HERE. My reservation was messed up because the lady didn't pay attention to her email, saying she never got it (but she had responded to it) and... More

This is an old motel but the room was clean and spacious. There was a window in the lobby for check in and the lady was very nice. However, the three dogs and the video surveillance posts didn't make us feel too safe. Maybe I just watch way too much ID TV!

After spending the day in Jackson Hole we drove south into the beautiful Star Valley to Afton. Motel management was very accommodating as we were looking for a last minute place to stay. Very pleasant staff. Love the traditional motels - very clean. Has everything you would need. Would stay here again!
