Christiane, the owner made me feel very welcome and took great care of me! I was sick, fever and coughing a lot, she gave me medicine and arranged a nice spot at casas brancas to enjoy the view and some relaxation away from the big ! Rocka is excellent for lunch and just ask the great hosts of this charming...

Great little pousada in Buzios. Elios and Christiane were very gracious and concerned with our satisfaction. Breakfast is quite nice, but does not start until 9am, a little late in my opinion. The furnishings are very exquisite in the main building, lots of art and interesting glassware. Nice china and crystal for breakfast too. Wonderful views from the pool and...

Pros: amazing spacious well decorated rooms. superb views of ferradura beach from the hills. amazing breakfast with superb fresh croissants. Cons: you need a car to stay here (+- far from center). not enough hot water.

We stayed 3 nights with Elios&Christiane in their charming Pousada. Its an excellent location on the top of Alto de Buzios, not only you can enjoy the great view, but there is always a cool breeze which is especially nice on a hot summer day like when we were there around Carnaval time. The last 6 days of our four week trip in Brazil we spent in Christiane & Elios place centrally located at a hill in Buzios overlooking the main city and the Ferradura beach and with Geriba Beach on the "back side" of the hill. The breakfast and service were excellent and we and our six kids enjoyed a relaxing time...
