The hotel is well situated in the center of the city. The first building in the front is beautiful but you will probably sleep behind, in a normal building. The breakfast was good but nothing special. The restaurant is not very good. Probably not the best place to stay in petropolis.

The hotel is situated in the mansion of the Count of Pedro Afonso and preserves most of the original structure (modifications were performed to have bathrooms in each room). The part net I stayed in was a bit noisy. Free Wi-fi was fast but with several outages, although reconnected easily. Breakfast is good, with several options, and served in a... More

Might be, that the main building is better, the breakfast, which was served there, war really okay, but the annex, where we had our room, is just an outdated installation, which must have seen its last refurbishment more then 20 years ago. Only single beds, although asked for queen- or king-size, virtually no power sockets, damaged door handles, totally uninspired... More

The hotel itself is great. Not only the room (we took room 76, which is a room behind the main building, right by the pool) but the whole place. Try to imagine you're staying in a great and beautiful secular mansion! I've never saw a place like that before. The other, and maybe the most important, point to consider is... More

A place just for those that wants to go back in time of the imperialism of Brazil! The main house is just a fabulous place where remains the furniture by the time. Very very close to the emperor palace which today's becomes a museum! Near to the Theresa street and the Cathedral of Sao Pedro de Alcantara!

Excellent location and such an old historical gorgeous hotel. Staff were very helpful and one of the best breakfasts supplied! Within walking distance of all the main sites. Lovely pool. We had a double ensuite room on level 4 - we would stay here again.

The hotel is located beside the Museum which is situated in the heart of Petropolis. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very nice and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Loved how it is located in an Historical Mansion! Close to the city center, on an walking distance of the main attractions and restaurants. Good value for the price, but the room was very small to stay with a child.

Hotel Casablanca is located near to most of the tourist sights and is only two doors down from the imperial palace museum. We opted for the standard rooms at the rear in the 1970/80's new build. Rooms were clean and well appointed. The bed was large, which is a welcome comfort for those who are taller than most. The hotel... More
