I was looking for a hotel in Leblon for our mother-daughter trip to Rio de Janeiro. This Mercure Hotel's physical look does not compare to some other Mercure Hotels where I have stayed, but our stay there was very satisfactory. It is kind of a...More
A good hotel - clean tidy and sufficient for a comfortable stay. the staff are friendly. I stayed for a week in August and I would have no hesitation in booking again. The location gives good access to beaches and restaurants.

In addition to being one of the most upscale neighbourhoods in the city, Leblon is charming, elegant and simple. This posh area has some of the most famous and expensive restaurants in Brazil, along with some of the city’s best nightlife (including some places open all night). One of the best places to visit is the beach, located under the impressive “Morro Dois Irmãos” (Two Brothers Hill). It’s a
pleasant place to relax and admire the local beauty.
