Modern design. Quiet rooms and quiet area. Choose a room overlooking to the courtyard. Great price. Breakfast was ok if staying for a short term. Towels were changed every second day. Cleaners kept forgetting to leave the shampoo bottles in the room, so I had to always ask them. Andreas Moraiz was the worst staff member I ever came across with in the hotels. He was laying to me, raising the voice, refused to provide me with the detailed breakdown of the bill that I have asked for, was accusing me that I don't want to pay for my stay and was overall very rude and negligent. I have wasted few hours out of my day dealing with this person. He have ruined my stay. I would have given excellent score to the hotel if it would not have been for him. Impossible to get hold of the reception from the room. The phone is never being answered. At some point I had to go 3 times downstairs to ask what I needed.

Busy, busy, busy hotel. Be aware you have to wait at the reception anytime for a longer period of time, bring some more time for the breakfast buffet because you do not find a free table or silverware;-) especially after 8.30am,maintenance is kind of poor e.g. a lot of lights didn't work on the way to the room so dark corridor walk :-(
Stuff really tries to show it's best but it's like a overtourism thing...?
Price unbeatable
For business travellers I would recommend to consider the reviews

Stayed here for one night.
It was busy and we arrived before the check-in time, so we got to leave our bags in the luggage storage (bellman was helpful and friendly!).

When we returned later and saw the room, we noticed dirty and stained sheets and moldy AC. We went to the reception and got a new sheets and pillow cases. When we came back to the room we noticed that most of them were dirty as well.

We went to the reception and were told that there was no other room available and that there was no other sheets and pillows available.

In the morning there was a long queue for the breakfast, but in the end we got in and got to eat. Super busy, missing items and limited places to sit. But it seemed like everyone got to eat in the end, even if it went past the closing time for the buffet.

After the stay we sent an email, but got no response. The email is pasted below.

Very disappointed. Would not stay there again.

"Dear Sir / Madam,

I would like to inform you about the disappointing and disgusting experience we had at your hotel when we visited earlier this month (5th - 6th of October).

When we arrived right before 14, we were told we could not check in, but that we should pay for the room to guarantee the room. This was ok, however, the problems later would have been solved if the receptionist had allowed us to check in a few minutes early.

When we arrived back, we were given a room as promised. The problems started when we arrived in the room. The sheets were dirty and stained, the room smelled, the air condition was full of dirt/mold, and the shower was growing mold.

When we contacted the reception to at least get clean sheets (sheets, towels and pillow covers) we were told that we had to go down to get it. When we got it we were told that they only had sheets available at the reception. The rest were locked in a room that it was not possible to access. When asked if we could get a different room, we were laughed at and told that all rooms are full every single night. Finally we were told that all of this was our problem because we were arriving late.

To top it off, one of the sheets that we got from the reception was even worse than the ones in the room.

In the end we had to use the least stained sheets, and share one almost clean pillow.

The combination of the unclean sheets and the attitude of the staff is thoroughly disappointing and unacceptable for a hotel with marketing such as yours.

When checking out we did not have time to bring it up because of the long time it took to get to check out and that we had to catch our transport. However, I would like to offer you the chance to respond before I post my reviews online."

I chose this hotel for my husband birthday. We had a long flight from London so we just wanted have a good rest. When we entered in the room I was terrified. The room was very dirty with some spiders in it. I was too tired to ask for changing the room so I asked that someone would bring clean bedsheets. Unfortunately we needed to call many times and my husband went in reception as well. We got new bedsheets almost after one hour which is ridiculous. One of the most important aspect for the hospitality is cleanliness. I was so embarrassed Infront of my husband as it supposed to be a lovely birthday stay for him. Nothing special was done for him (usually that's what you get when you stay in Europe hotels). I don't understand how this hotel can be 4star. Maybe hotel rating in Brazil is different. Never ever again. Do not recommend for no one.

If you have any issues or you about to die as long as the room is pay they don't care even if about to die. They not help or call the emergency. I do not recommend this place at all. You never know what can happen and it's really important to have people who can support you when you need it

This was not planned stay as I was forced to stay in Rio for two more nights. I booked this hotel late evening and headed right there.
The area is quite dangerous, the hotel looks nice on photos but not in reality. It is very dirty - towels, floor, tables with splitted coffe...
Poor breakfast in incredibly dirty area. I am shocked to see this kind of modern hotel managed so poor...

This "4* hotel" has no name on the building, it is hard to find. We came by morning. Checkin is at 2pm. They charge for luggage storage 30 reales, which should be included. Until 2pm was reception full of people waiting for checkin, but not enough space to comfortably sit for all. At 2pm all the people stay in the 30minutes queue in front of the desk for checkin. We dont feel welcomed. We have got stinky uncleaned room. After complaint at the reception we got another key without any word. No apologise.. what the heck is this?

Web booked this hotel looking for a high standard and we were sad to see that they do not meet the expectations of a four star hotel. The headboard of the bed is worn out, the curtains are moldy, the bathroom door is smashed, and when you ask for something at the reception they don't bring it to you nor are they a bit polite. I hope they can improve for future clients.
