We were here for New Years 2020 with family. The hotel is managed by Neuza who treated everyone like a long lost friend. I witnessed guest after guest at checkout thanking her for the treatment they experienced at Castelo Beach Hotel. As did we. Now to the particulars. This is a B&B that is close to the beach and resturants and stores. Our New Years party was safe and fun. After a day of touring and beach combing, we always came back to a clean well appointed room that met our needs. Breakfast was full of various flavorful offerings with omletes and crepes made to order. All attractions are actually within walking distance and allows for a stroll on the beach walk to get to them. Neuza knows absolutely everyone and can resolve any issue by speed dialing the right person for the job.
We have stayed at many different hotels and it always comes down to the personal touch. When in Natal, we will stay again.

Castelo Beach is not expensive, and as such it was no surprise to find basic rooms. The main flaw was the lack of hot water in the shower. Other than that, there was a comfy bed, good airconditioning, and a small TV set. The rooms with sea view have a nice balcony with a hammok to relax. Cleaning was done on a daily basis and staff was very friendly. Only in Portuguese however, as in the rest of Natal actually. Breakfast was simple but certainly acceptable. The location is good, as it's close to the beach and not far from the area to go out at night. As my plane was leaving at night, I could rent a room for an extra day for a small fee. To recommend if you're on a budget but if I were to go back to Natal, I would opt for a higher class.

This is a small place and is more like a pousada than a hotel. The room I got was smallish. There were good views of the beach from the balcony. The breakfast time was very short: 0730-0930, and I couldn't do the breakfast there during my 2 days of stay. This is the world cup time, the rooms were hard to find and I would probably have taken any place with a bed and attached bath. If you have other options, pass on this one.

We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks. First impresion wasnt perfect, but after few days in Brazil we found our hotel very good! It is located on the hill, about 400m to the ocean. It is on a quite high hill, so requires 'climbing'.
Rooms are very simply equiped, but cosy, bathrooms are nice. Extra beds are not recommended, as they are not comfortable. Rooms with "sea view" have balcony with hammok, table and chairs.
Hotel has nice swimming pool, so it was a pleasure to get into it after sunbathing on the oceanside.
Seaside is common, there is no any locker rooms or toilets on the beach! Beaches are wild, not managed or perfectly handled. But in any case, It is wild country with its exclusivity!
5* hotels have their own beaches, perfectly equiped, but it is rather touristic than local.

Breakfast was good, but simple, we mostly liked brasilian coffee and natural fesh juices!
In Natal it was problematic to find english speaking people, also in hotel. So I highly recommend to have portugal 'speaking' book or any vocabulary!
P.S. sockets were of european style.

Enjoy You stay!

No words to describe my vacation in Natal, especially at Castelo Beach. We chose Christmas to celebrate my boyfriend's 30th birthday, and decided to stay in June/23. Since then, Neusa has always been there to answer all my doubts and welcome all my ideas for a birthday surprise with open arms. We stayed for 6 days and 5 nights in a beautiful room with a balcony and views of the sea and Morro do Careca, with a super comfortable bed and a delicious shower. Air conditioning, hammock on the balcony, clothesline, amenities, towels, iron, dryer, etc., super complete! The breakfast has a little bit of everything, very complete. The pool is delightful! The hotel has a reception and a super cozy community area. Neusa's charisma, care and attention are breathtaking. I would like to thank all the staff for the excellent service they provided us. I highly recommend the hotel and will definitely stay again when I return to Natal.

Well located guesthouse. Comfortable room and good service. Excellent option in Natal, with good value for money. However, the breakfast leaves a little to be desired - served in an air-conditioned environment that cools the food. I also missed some regional options, like coalho cheese and plantain. But I still consider it a good option. In the room there is a clothesline, I found it very useful. Good bathroom. Suggestion: full-length mirror in bedrooms.
