This is not a luxury place by any means, but it is in a convenient location. It's easy to get taxis to where you want to go, and you can walk very easily to MASP, Trianon etc. Housekeeping was good, but the front desk girl was not all that interested in helping us. I was with someone who spoke Portuguese, so it wasn't just a language issue. The breakfast was adequate, but the refrigeration on some perishable items was questionable. All in all, I'd say that this is no-frills lodging of good value in a fine location (across from Maksoud Plaza, and costs a lot less!). More

I was in the hotel with my family, and I did the reservation by e-mail. I asked them to provide me a cradle, but when we arrived they told us that there were no cradles available due the hotel was full. Unfortunately we have to use an existing extra mattress that was not the best option, but it worked.
The room was fine, with a nice view to the city but may be a bit old so it needs a renovation.
Regarding the location, it's very very well located, near the Paulista avenue that is the most important, safe a nice avenue of São Paulo.
The bill us an incorrect charge due the use of the minibar, and they didn't mind when we told them that we didn't consume that stuff.
The breakfast was complete and nice.

Staying in Bela Vista

Neighbourhood Profile
Bela Vista
Known for its Italian cantinas, Bela Vista is the place to go for great pasta. Also called “Bixiga”, the area is an important cultural part of the city, with the bohemian and the religious costumes of its inhabitants on full display. In August, the large Nossa Senhora Achiropita party fills the streets with a variety of Italian food and music. You can experience the liveliness of the neighbourhood walking through the antiquities fair at Dom Orione Square or visiting the “Brazilian Caminito”, a version of the Argentinian street complete with colorful buildings. Bela Vista is also home to the traditional samba school “Vai-Vai”. Buy a ticket to a rehearsal and get a taste of what Carnival is like.
