We choose due to its localization but the hotel has big rooms, an excellent wi-fi connection and a great breakfast. I would definitely book again, it really served our purposes and the staff is really competent and friendly

Back in 2015, I have been to Sao Paulo for a business trip and was hosted in this hotel. The surrounding area is very nice, it is located a few blocks from Avenida Paulista and is at walking distance from Jardins, where you can find many top class restaurants. The environment of the hotel is very formal and clean, staff...

Excellent location. Very nice people. Excellent sushi bar. The bed was huge and the bathroom very comfortable. Will come back for sure. Only negative point is that the pool water is not climatized. Very good service. The recepcionist was very kind

Generally speaking, besides the wifi connection with troubles every time we checked in and the speed of it was slower than I expected, all the rest of the services were good. Especially the Japanese restaurant at 1st floor was really great! I went to this restaurant almost every dinner while I was there. The price may not be cheap, but...

I stayed at the Matsubara hotel for a week. During my stay, I was touched by how attentive and engaging the staff were. They took the time to explain anything to me (sometimes requiring extra staff to do the English/Portuguese translation). I was always greeted upon arrival and departure. My room was spotless, as was the entire hotel. Both restaurants...

Only a few minutes by foot from Paulista Avenue and other major spots in São Paulo, Matsubara Hotel has a great service and it is a great place to stay if you are planning to go to São Paulo on a business or tourism trip.

The hotel is ok. Already got a bit older it offers futuristic architecture from the 70s. The staff is very attentive and as 'all' people are in Brasil very friendly and cheerful. However, we recommend the Japanese restaurant in the hotel. Sushi prepared so freshly and with real passion you'll have not had before! A must in Sao Paulo. And...

Nice hotel, Japanese themed and catering to the Japanese business community, fairly well located. Only one small restaurant nearby, easy to walk to, weigh the food. Hotel appointments very nice, but the internet leaves something to be desired. It's free throughout the hotel, but it doesn't stay working. They had to bring a special router and install in our room...
