We have been to Balchik many times over the past five years and have stayed in many of the hotels, usually a different one each time - for no reason other than to try or availability. We called in at the Selena Restaurant a week ago just for breakfast as we were staying at a different hotel that does not... More

We stayed here for 2 weeks, and has really enjoyed our stay. The staff always great you when you enter and leave (one of them even opens the door for you). The main maid is a sweet old lady who really does a good and thorough job cleaning the rooms (I swiped the doorknobs when we first came here, and... More

Great place, really clean, excellent location and all for a really good price! One minus was the lack of english speaking staff! The restaurant serves really good food also at good prices! I highly recommend this hotel for Balcik!

We've just been to a small weekend getaway to Balchik and booked Selena hotel for 1 night only (a double room and a single studio). The location is OK for autumn and even winter city-scapes. There's no radiators in the room, but it's ok cause you can supplement with the AC which has heating too. The rooms are large and... More

We were on a 5 week driving trip and chose Balchik because we wanted to see the botanical gardens. When doing the research, we wanted a seaside location, but didn't want to stay in a big modern hotel. We like smaller more intimate hotels. Selena was a good choice. We were there near the end of September and Balchik was... More

+on the beach bulevard, so close to everything +free internet +rooms tidy and nice size +really friendly cleaning lady and other staff -boring breakfast (we stayed for a week, no buffet only a menu with 4 choices) - a slight minus that they play loud music in the near by coctail bar on weekends

It is a very clean hotel situated by the sea. Big and confortable rooms, nice and helpful staff. Everything we asked for was possible (not rigid like other hotels). I can not say anything about their restaurant because we did not tried it. We had no breadkfast included in our package, so we ate out of the hotel at the... More

We stayed here overnight as we were playing golf nearby. The hotel was really good location, the meal we had was really good it came to 90lev (£40) with lots of drink for three of us and the room was £12 per person. Right on the front looking out to sea.

This hotel is situated at the very beginning of the walking area of Balchik. Unfortunately, the city is very touristic and there is a lot of noise from different restaurants and clubs who try to attract clients by turning the volume of the music to the maximum level. The hotel otherwise is nice, with comfortable rooms, A/C, kitchenette, but if... More
